I have been consistently and loyally going to Bleutique for almost 4yrs now. I “tried it out” before getting my hair done for my sister’s wedding. Let me just say Ashley hands down has been the most amazing stylist for the 4yr period! I went to get my hair done last week and had THE WORST EXPERIENCE that I’ve ever had in ANY hair salon in Atlanta (and I’ve gone to some of the best of the best)!
I know the prices backwards and forwards because I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there as I was going every other week until my stylist became pregnant. I’ve paid for microlinks, sew-ins, clip-ins, and just my natural hair; you name it, I’ve had it! So, I’ve PAID my fair share there!! More recently, I had a question about the price as I had to make a deposit online when booking, and the remaining after services. I asked my stylist if I could speak to one of the staff members Wendy to simply inquire as I was confused on the price compared to what I was getting.
Wendy in fact came from the back and we began to talk. In the midst of my question, she rudely cut me off. I did in fact ask her how she could cut me off as she had no idea what I was going to say. Her professionalism from the start was rude and unwelcoming and continued for quite a while!!
We began to go back and forth (I simply had a question on the price) and things became LOUD and not the behavior indicative of a hair salon! I have NEVER had a staff member speak to me in such a disrespectful, unprofessional way in ANY Atlanta salon. It became SO BAD, that I grabbed my phone, and immediately reached out to the owner in disbelief of how she was acting. Even when she went to the back, I could still hear her yelling. It was definitely different than what you expect in a salon.
I immediately reached out to the owner Metowi and expressed my concerns. I let her know I wasn’t “some random female” walking in trying to disrupt the salon. I was a faithful client of 4yrs that have paid VERY WELL (thousands over the years). She never asked me what happened, never said “I heard there was an issue at the salon, please except my apology and let me know what happened as I would never want a client to feel disrespected or uncomfortable!” Not once did she ask me or “try to make it right” as the owner. She simply spoke to her staff member (before speaking with me) and asked me not to return after countless patronizing to her salon prime rates month after month for almost 4 years.
There were several times I went to the salon with hot water heater issues and got my hair washed in freezing cold water, and I STILL remained a loyal client and paid well. Never complained even then. But this last experience was simply too much!
I can only speak on my personal experience, and from that I don't feel the owner Metowi cares about me as a client. I have seen so many stylists come and go just in the last 6 months alone, so I guess to dismiss me so easily as a client was no different. Very disappointing and hurtful, and I would not recommend Bleutique hair salon to anyone.
So blessed to finally experience the #MetowiMethod! After seeing Metowi's viral videos on social media doing the likes of Lizzo, La La, Porscha Williams (just to name a few) I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in the #MetowiMethod. When I tell you its THE MOST FLAWLESS Install I've ever experienced. My boyfriend, who is not a fan of weaves, wigs and extensions could barely detect or feel them while touching my hair. It gives me the extra length and fullness we all desire. The texture matches my hair perfectly! I'm now on my second install using the same bundle I purchased with my 1st install. Her entire Bleutique team have helped me with tightenings and maintenance over the the past few months. I'm officially hooked!
My experience was amazing and I first did a consultation with Ralph and he gave me a silk press and trim which was perfect. I loved his attitude and attention to details. I received the washed and prep by Rachel who was the best they did an amazing job.
My second experience was with diamond who did my clip-in install which looked beautiful and matched the texture till it blended flawlessly. We didn’t have much to say with I can appreciate because small talk is not my thing. I prefer authenticity and professionalism and this salon is that. They made sure they greeted everyone that entered. This salon oozes black excellence and I’ll be back every-time .
Well worth the price and experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been going to Bleutique for about 7 months now and Diamond is my stylist. Diamond did my initial consultation and continues the maintenance of my micro links. She’s done two installs for me and I see her every two weeks. She makes sure my hair stays healthy. I still have my natural curl pattern. She is always professional and very personable. She’s the best with her blow outs and silk presses. She truly takes pride and extra care with my hair. See Diamond if you’re looking for a great stylist to take care of your hair!!!!
I used to get my hair done here regularly but Ive been across the country and wasn’t able to come in.
Since I haven’t been in a while I called in for a same day consultation and install because I was driving 2 1/2 hrs to get there. They remembered me and agreed to do a same day install. On my way there they randomly called to see if I was still coming in… they’ve never done that unless I was really late.
After getting my hair washed I was told my hair was too thick to receive the install. This didn’t sound right to me, but my hair was damaged last year so I didn’t question my stylist. She was really sweet about it but I can’t help but think she didn’t want to do my service because her next client (who is a well known stylist) came in before she was done flat ironing my hair.
She recommended a sew in but said she didn’t have time to do it that day, which made no sense because I already had an appointment for an install. So overall, yesterday I wasted 5 hours of driving to only get my hair flat ironed. I’m giving it 2 stars bc my stylist was nice about it but they lost a loyal customer. I’m too nice to cause a scene but I hate being played with.
I got my hair done 2 weeks ago by B Dav (Brittany). She did feed-in braids and I couldn’t be happier! This was my first visit to the salon. B Dav is super professional, kind and very relatable. She cared for my hair in a very loving and detailed way, which is important to me. She explained every product she was using and really made me feel welcomed like I had been going to her for years. I was very happy with my service and think B Dav is amazing! I can’t wait to get other styles done in the future!
Also, the salon was beautiful and clean and you can tell the staff really cares about customer service. I was offered water and snacks and really felt like I could spend my whole day there with no issues because it’s so welcoming.
Oh and my hair....after two weeks is STILL snatched! Looks amazing! I’ve been getting SO many compliments, just got one today! ❤️.

My stylist is Diamond, she is the best. She did my consultation and even though I was ready to get my microlinks that day she let me know I wasn't ready yet which meant a lot to me knowing that she cares about healthy hair and not just the money! She also did an amazing job on the silk press!
My daughters treated me to micro links for my birthday. I have never had any types of weave or braids in my hair so I was so unsure of how this experience would be. This business is WONDERFUL!!!! Ashley did my hair and she made sure I understood everything. She dyed and trimmed my hair and consulted with me with each step. She then did my microlinks and I was sooooo amazed and ecstatic with the results!!! Everyone in the salon was gorgeous, professional and friendly. I even was offered a complimentary glass of wine!!!! I loveeee this business. I will be a life long customer and I will recommend to all my family and friends!!!
