First time eating at this amazing restaurant. The host was amazing and very welcoming !! I’m not sure if he is the owner or the cook but he was very pleasant as well. Order the shrimp dinner basket with collard greens and Mac and cheese jambalaya rice and I also got an oxtail dinner as well. The first bite !!! OMG ???? seasoning to perfection ! The portion size . Can’t beat it !!!! That’s a good soul food place and I wish I would’ve known about them sooner !!

No matter what time you go the owner will say “Good night” and I didn’t realize what he meant until I started eating and I only got to a quarter of my plate and I wanted to take a nap but the food was so good that I kept on wanting to go back for more.????
This man of God right here blessed my stomach today!! My husband and I had the shrimp basket and wings and EVERYTHING was phenomenal. Everything was fried to order and seasoned perfectly. The shrimps were huge and the wings were normal size just how we like it. The portion size is well worth the price. His customer service was amazing, very friendly and attentive. The pineapple lemonade impeccable. And the icing on the cake was the gospel music he was playing. I could have started shouting up in there. May God continue to bless you, your family, and business.
First time ever eating there I got the blessed man plate and I truly fell in love. I would totally eat there again. Could barely close the tray, but it kept me full until the next day
Yall, I got the 1lb od shrimp n frìes, and could only eat 1/4 of the food I got. My husband got the Blessed mans dinner. Holy cow, they definitely give you your money's worth.
The taste of this food is mouth watering! Homemade never tasted so good. Yall gotta go give them a try for sure!
We visited for the first time today and we’ll be back! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Never had seafood rice, but this will be my go to from now on. Sweet potatoes were delicious. My family enjoyed the Mac, ribs and potato salad too…great local spot and very affordable portions
The meat was piled so high the tray didn’t close. The pulled pork was tender and still hot. The seafood rice was full of shrimp and crab meat. The collard greens was good enough for me to leave this review. But the banana pudding is the reason that I will be back. The baked beans smacked too! I didn’t take a photo though. Next time! Oh yeah, grab that pineapple lemonade!
Got a large pineapple lemonade & strawberry banana pudding. I should’ve just got a plate the food is good here but the lemonade was watered down and had no sugar. The pudding tasted like a parfait. Paid $11 just for me to be disappointed
