The pizza here is really a pleasant treat. Tgw way it's cooked really leaves it less greasy than other pizza places. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely not your run of the mill pizza shop.
This is typical Blaze pizza outlet, with all the goodness of make your own pizza.
The crew working here is really awesome , super helping. I went there when they were closing, but still got my pizza done without any hurry or shortcuts or display of frustration.

Based on high rating we finally tried Blaze in lieu of our local favorite for takeout. BIG MISTAKE. I can see the appeal in ordering in the shop - picking ingredients, etc, and it is not a typical pizza and beer place. HOWEVER quality was disappointing. Thin soggy crust under too much sauce, a little light on ingredients. Price was less than others but just not worth the savings. There are at least 4 better locally owned pizza restaurants that offer takeout within a 5 minute radius - I won’t be back.
Do not go to this Blaze. The service is abysmal and the food suffers because of it.
The pizza would have been good if the service was even close to acceptable. Ordered online and arrived at the store. Walked over the the online pickup sign and joined the group of people clearly waiting for online orders. We waited for names to be called because clearly that was the way they were doing things. Pizza comes up, name is called. So the group continued to wait. It's dinner time so I was patient and did not interrupt. Waited untill after the time my order was supposed to be ready untill I asked were my order was. They went "oh it's back here what's the name?". The whole group let out sounds of complaint.
Then to top it all off they couldn't even get the orders correct. They only gave me two of my three meals. Then we looked at the 5 or 6 pizzas just waiting on the finishing section. My order was half under another pizza. I had to point it out to them and they still look confused. Finally they boxed up my now cold pizza and we left. In the parking lot on the way out we run into two other guests that were waiting with us only to find out their order wasnt even close to correct.
Liked choosing our own pizza. Pizza was delicious. Fast service. We would return.
overall great place to come for vegan and gluten free, always greeted as soon as we walk in the door and will be a returning customer but i just wish they would take their time a little more on the presentation, toppings are all in one place and pizza is rarely cut or cut in multiple different sizes
One of my favorite pizza shops. I like the "assembly line" style of creating pizza with customizations. The staff is pleasant, prices are ok and food quality/taste is good.
Best vegan pizza i have ever had. I was traveling from out of state on the 4th of July and i searched vegan options near me and Blaze pizza came up. I went there expecting a mediocre pizza but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be the best pizza I’ve ever had! I ordered the vegan pizza which came with vegan cheese and chorizo, peppers, basil, onions and mushrooms. I left the mushrooms off. Thanks Blaze pizza! Wish you had a location in the DC area :)
