Valentines Day dinner 2022. The place was nearly empty between 7 & 9:30, maybe 8 tables of people. Happily it wasn't busy because the wait staff was short staffed. Ours was the bartender, hostess & waitress. Did a great job juggling. The fettuccine Alfredo was great, big portion & the broccoli was very good too. The crepes on the other hand had a tomato sauce on top that wasn't so tasty. There was no cheese in it either.
2021 NOW this place is average in food taste and presentation. Dishes that were great before are now ordinary. As in the caprese panini (cheaper bread) and the crepes (lumpy, not thoroughly cooked, piled awkwardly on the plate). Some of the dishes are plastic now. This place has fallen tremendously. THEN Excellent trendy place w/great decor & eclectic menu.
Being used to the Mediterranean diet and food style, we find it hard to find a good restaurant around here. My husband drives Uber and one day he drove James to work and this is how we found out about this restaurant. Delicious!! Like being home (Spain). The place is unique. I love the way the have bottles of great wine all over. Food is the best I have had so far in this area and even the music was great!! We just tried it yesterday and I can´t wait to go back. Buenísimo!! Exquisito. Muchas gracias. Excelent service too. Love the Tempranillo wine too!
Absolutely love this restaurant. The decor is lovely and just an overall great dining experience. I had the lamb chop lollipops, chicken alfredo and cheesecake. The food was great and the portion sizes are a decent size. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back!
I came to Blau for the first time last night to meet up with some out of town family who were visiting. We had good drinks to start (moscow mules and an Old Fashioned), the crab soup, and each dish we ordered was cooked exactly to our preference. The only bad part of the experience was the somewhat limited menu, but it was explained to us that they were going through some revisions and overhauls, so I feel that is to be expected. For a first time visit, it was definitely satisfactory and I'll come back again to try more next time.
What an awesome spot for locals!! Not only are there tapas delicious and easy to share, but their entrees are made from scratch and plated beautifully. The Filet mignon was delicious. Great selection of drinks and their tea is brewed at the table. Wide range of choices on the menu for all foodies, picky eaters, and dietary restrictions. If you’re in the area, this is certainly a spot you must swing by if you’re in town. Highly recommended and we can’t wait to come back.
Always such a wonderful experience at BLAU. They have the BEST fries and the Atlantic salad is my favorite. A great go to for a nice lunch or intimate dinner.
Reviews on website and trip advisor were great. We were very disappointed. Menu was just change and there was very little description of items offered. Specialty drinks there were none. I ordered a mohito and very disappointed it had very little flavor. Soup was bland mediteranian flat bread ok nothing special. Very dissapointed. Waitress did not know bar drinks at all and unable to make suggestions. Didn't refill water glass or remove dishes in a timely fashion.
Vintage atmosphere. She crab soup was creamy and rich. I love burgers. The Blau burger was highly recommend. Oh my, it didn't disappoint.
