5/5 for food. Food is amazing, beats out some places that are twice as expensive and sit down joints.
4/5 for service. The service is sometimes inconsistent. Never rude to customers, but I've seen a white guy working mornings getting unnecessarily impatient with a seemed to be a new hire who didn't speak good English picking things up slowly.
And then today I went to the expo/fry counter trying to pickup my order. I waited until other orders had been handed off, and was told by an employee who then basically just stood around for the next few minutes I had to get my order from the cashier, who was actively taking orders.
I don't understand why she couldn't have taken the 30 seconds to grab my food from the hot hold, and my drink cup. Maybe it's a corporate thing, or maybe it's a this location but a little flexibility would go a long way for making a customers experience better.
Just giving some advice as a former fast casual food service veteran.
3/5 for atmosphere. It's Blake's, you don't come here for the atmosphere.
My #3 was good, actually really big. The service was fast and friendly. The only problem was that someone left a bunch of trash in the parking lot and it was blowing around…
Foods always been great.
The attitude of the server could have been a little more inviting though. Tables were mostly clean and bathroom was pretty decent.
This Blakes was great! The food is always good! The place is clean and the service was awesome! Tom the manager is a very nice and informative guy! Giving it a 4 star because our orders the second time we went weren't very accurate with one of our doubles only having a single. All in all one of the most bomb places to eat!
Visit to Santa Fe isn’t completed unless you grab a breakfast burrito here. Unfortunately for me I tried the green chili burger instead. It really seemed to lack taste compared to the spoiling’s of Whataburger back in Texas. Next time I am in the area I will try the burrito. Their iced coffee is pretty solid tho!
After eating at Blake's food 50 years, they have the same great taste. The only thing I don't like is the lotaburger seems to be getting smaller.
Everything is usually great and I love it every time. I love the breakfast burritos with red chili, I love the cheese burgers, the chicken sandwiches.
The only issue I have is that they don’t make it noticeable on what isn’t on the items. A lot of the time I get a cheese burger, I do it online so I remember to add cheese. I wish they would ask more questions like “do you want cheese?” Or “any sauces with that?”
Everything else is great tbh and I’ll always be a fan of the food here :)
Very disappointed. Worst dry breakfast burrito ever. Please don't serve old food. We can tell. We've been eating at Blake's over 40 years. Please don't ruin it.
