I’ve traveled to Black Sphynx tattoo shop from El Paso, TX twice already just for the vibes, amazing artists, and the shop environment. Everyone is super friendly and super helpful. Both my tattoos have been done by Nick who has done a badass job on both. His work is super unique and his style is something I haven’t been able to find in my hometown. I cannot recommend this shop enough, I’ll definitely be back for more!
I've gotten 2 tattoos here from 2 artists. They are so professional and kind. Nick (Pikachu) and Dulce (dragonfly) rock. They also have apprentices and are very patient and educational. This is the perfect place for a first timer and for women because it's so comfortable and they cheer for you during the process if it gets tough. The shop pets are also a huge bonus!
I got a tattoo here not too long ago with my dad. Everything was great the night we got tattooed but I noticed on the ride home the line work was a little shake but I didn't think anything of it. Then when it healed it blew out a bit and just doesn't look great. I'm 18 and this is only my second tat. Pretty dissapointing.
I really loved the environment of this place! I moved to San Antonio and was looking for a new tattoo shop to frequent. I ended up getting a flash tattoo and it’s my favorite one so far. My artist was super sweet and had a steady and light hand. I have already recommended this place to bunch of friends/ colleagues of mine who ask about it or were curious for a good shop to go to.
I love this place! The vibes are impeccable and the artist, who was Dulce for me, is so kind!! Super understanding and lovely people. I love their cat too! The place is super gorgeous and clean and just overall really really good experience! I’ve had two tattoos with Dulce so far and I’m looking forward to more!
Moved to SA March 22 and knew I needed to find a new shop. Found Black Sphynx and their Friday 13th every Friday videos on IG and went in. I’ve been tatted now by half the shop and look forward to getting more art done soon. They’re all amazing artists and the vibes are amazing! Will forever be a client!
The atmosphere is great and everyone is so friendly, the walk-ins on Fridays can get crazy but it’s so worth it if you get in because the quality of the work you get is insane! This is the tattoo I got back in October and it still looks just as vibrant.
