Wonderful service tonight! Randy and his crew were so personable and on top of everything! Food was delicious! We had a big party of 15 tonight and they got all our orders and drinks perfectly! In constant communication to see if we needed anything else! Thank you Black Sheep, my husband's 39th birthday is now one for the books! Oh... can I also mention a live DJ!! Amazing!

First of all, this place is what downtown Riverbank needs. A reason for people to come downtown, hang out and socialize. Black Sheep has a nice atmosphere with the ability to dine outside if you wanted that includes a gas firepit to sit by. Plenty of room for indoor dining as well. I had a dinner salad that was pretty good.
I felt so comfortable, amazing atmosphere, owner and bartender were super cool. I got the Birria Ramen. Absolutely delicious. Egg was actually cooked perfectly. Which is usually extremely hard to find. Bartender and owner were super friendly and welcoming. I will absolutely be going back weekly. So happy to have found this place. It absolutely will not disappoint. 5 stars.
Found this place on a Google maps. Had a few drinks and apps. Really great service and food we had. Diffently gonna go back again.
It's more of a loud bar than restaurant.
The food was ok / the waiter was good.
There is no separation from the dining area & bar. You had to talk over the loud music, people yelling, cussing, sexual jokes & a guy yelling, " There's no masterbating on Sunday's " all while your trying to have dinner & a conversation with my wife.
It's your typical bar environment, which is ok if you're going for 2 drinks but not a place to enjoy a meal. We may stop by for a drink but definitely not to eat in the dining room.
We definitely recommend, " Do not bring your children here !! You will hear all the foul language we are all familiar with in a bar setting. The bar isn't separated from the dining area, so you hear everything.
Food was delicious but bartender was horrible and rude. Didn’t get acknowledged for a while after we arrived.
There were other customers that got up and left because of the bad service.
It took bartender at least an hour to make two Bloody Mary’s. She said she didn’t want to make them because she had already made many of them that morning. Mind you there were no customers at the bar.
