Best WLM Reviews
Heard good things about this place! We had reservations on a Friday evening, but they put us in the corner table right next to the entrance, hot lights are directly shining on your face - super hot area and their A/C was not working either so the temperature inside the restaurant was uncomfortable.
Appetizers were probably BETTER than their actual entrees. Do NOT get the hanger steak ????, it had some balsamic/sweet glaze on it (which does go well with a steak in general in my opinion) and the steak ???? was overdone; it tasted like a 2 day old pot roast.
Waitress was accommodating and offered to get it redone or get me something else, which I opted for the wedge salad ????. Wedge salad’s dressing tasted like fry sauce , which was also strange! We would only probably come back for the appetizers next time.
Every time I go to Black Sheep Cafe I come away happy. I love everything on their menu- this time I tried one of their staple Navajo tacos and shared their Lavender Fry Bread with a friend as an appetizer. Their food is high quality and so rich in flavor, the options are unique- especially for Provo, and their staff is extremely kind and helpful, which helps when it's impossible to decide what you want when you go. Highly recommend for a lunch or dinner spot that is SO GOOD.
Loved everything we ordered from here! Bruschetta was tasty, and the pork taco was insanely good. The portions were perfect and the price is worth the quality of food. The decor inside is really nice and the service was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Do I read a review for the Green Chile stew and how they loved it. I was suspect of its ability to fill me but went ahead and ordered it. Amazing. Best dish of the table of 5 other dishes ordered at our table. The pork chunks were divine and fork tender. The carrots were chunky and beautiful to the eyes and palate. This was an amazing meal for me and now I dream about coming back to have it again! When you do be sure to order the fry bread as that was amazing too.
I went recently and was a little disappointed with the Navajo taco. I had it before and I remember it tasting better… the bread under got soggy because of the green chile sauce and it was just bland ????I asked the waiter that served us and she recommends any of the burgers. My husband had the steak salad and that was yummy so maybe just stick with burgers and anything American.
To start, the two times I’ve come the food has been superb. The portions I thought were on the larger size. I had the Southwestern Chicken and my wife the Chili Soup. Both great. The chips with queso were okay though. The chips a little overcooked and queso just warm. But I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be like that and was good either way. Unique atmosphere and I enjoyed it all.
The service for this place was incredible. We had a schedule to keep and our server accommodated us so well. Very friendly. My date was impressed too, so bonus points! The food was incredible. I had the Navajo Taco. I keep a list of Navajo Taco places and this place is at the top.
This was such a fun experience! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. By far the best thing I ate was the honey lavender fried bread. It was delicious. I also ordered the Navajo tacos and my wife ordered the chimi relleno. Both were very good! I did think there could have been more of kick to some of the food, but overall it was really yummy.
