I walked into the shop today to get a tattoo that I was struggling to find someone to do correctly. Johnny took on my request immediately and deeply listened to my requests and concerns especially since it’s my first tattoo. When time came for him to start it he was amazing. He was gentle and very kind along with talkative during the process. Highly recommended to see him! He’s outstanding!!
I have now had the pleasure of getting work done by both Stephen and Johnny and both guys did/do amazing work. They both work quick and communicate well through the whole process. I will be returning here for all my ink needs.
shop is very clean, organized, and makes you feel at home. i had rico do my tattoo, great conversation and his attention to detail is outstanding. he made it look identical to the reference picture. definitely will be going back. highly recommend.
I had Sean tattoo a death's head hawkmoth
on my right calf. He did an awesome job, and was nice, relaxed, and polite. It was done very nicely and I'm really happy with it. My first tattoo experience was great.
I have been seeing Johnny Ave for about 18 months... 9 tattoos and 2 sleeves later, I am still coming to him. He's a fantastic artist and always has your best ideas at heart. Can't wait to see what we will tattoo in these coming months!

Johnny has done two of my tattoos and I could not possibly be more happy with the outcome. He is so genuine and really knows what’s up. He really cares about the work he’s doing and strives to give 1000% of his effort every single time. He is also very honest, he will tell you if he thinks something isn’t going to look good over time and what he can do to adjust the idea. The shop is always spotless and full of artists who should have been comedians. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!
I have gotten 4 tattoos from Black Raven and ducky has done all 4 of them. The staff there are all super friendly and the shop is always very clean. Ducky is awesome, he really makes you feel like you are at home when you go into his shop and he always gives you a good laugh and makes the hours is the chair seem like only minutes. I definitely will be going back
