First things first? When I first walked in I was immediately hit with a FOUL smell. It smelled like dog poop, it was awful. Not sure if it was JUST this day that it smelled horrible, or the staff is just nose blind to it and it’s a regular occurrence.
Besides the smell being very off putting the young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful while I waited for my artist to get there. Mind you, he was an hour late.
When the owner got there he didn’t greet me or even apologize for inconveniencing me. He did not make small talk throughout the appointment and seemed very bothered. Also did not offer me a discount for making me wait an hour past my time. He has a “take it or leave it” attitude, very bad for business.
The owner was also discussing personal matters with staff infront of me and it made the experience awkward. He was speaking down to her and very invested in her business, asking personal questions in-front of clients. Felt bad for her.
This was the most unprofessional experience from a tattoo shop ever. Would never come back. Please find a tattoo shop that respects you AND your time.
I was recommended this shop by my brother Alex he got a big piece on his chest by the owner of the shop. I came in here last minute with my little sister I wanted to get matching tattoos with her. We came in an hour before closing & they treated us with a lot of hospitality & they were super friendly & definitely took their time on creating our matching pieces. All of the artist there were amazing I love the aesthetic of the inside of the shop. Very beautiful & clean. The establishment was very welcoming. Also there is always parking available (with meter of course)
I have had issues with my ear lobe piercings since I got them at Claire's as a toddler... no metal works. This wonderfully kind lady who goes by Eva Cardy recommended the piercings they sell which are implant grade titanium! I was nervous at first as my healed lobes reject 99% of the earrings I've tried. THESE WORK! THEY ACTUALLY WORK!! Eva was kind enough to reassure me they should do the trick, and they did!! She even helped me by getting me longer bars as my ear lobes are a little thicker. AND she helped me put them in before I left! 11/10! I recommended Eva for any of your piercings or piercing questions!!
Clean environment just over priced. Payed 500 for a tattoo the owner did for me and my girl. He knocked both out in less than 45 mins. Also I felt that he was picking and choosing the price based on who I was so I am sure it’s not consistent based upon who you are, if that makes since. I got tatted by the owner he seemed a bit shaky to me tbh. Good work tho.
Now this was a pop up, I now the tatt industry pretty well and know I got over priced double! Should have only payed 250 max for that time.
If you go make sure you negotiate your price as well
My experience with BlackHeart Ink was phenomenal. Devon was my artist and he was very friendly and very customer oriented. He not only captured a perfect image for what I pictured as a sleeve, but he also did amazing coverup work for me. I have since returned due to the great atmosphere, people and professional work being done. Great experience and definitely refer anyone who wants that perfect tattoo they have always imagined getting. For the picture perfect tattoo experience you came to the right place????????????
Love coming to this place. Always a good time and Hector Always has great artists. He's also very personable, making sure everything is great. I would recommend this shop to anyone!
Came in for a flash sale a while ago. I was able to pick my tattoo and got in the chair within the hour! I’m soooo inlove with my tattoo. The shop was clean and organized. Can’t wait to go back! Pete was my fine line artist btw!
Was finally ready to get my first tattoo after wanting one for a very long time. Did a lot of research and found Olive (@247_inkstudio) through Instagram and reached out. Had a design idea in mind and Olive worked with me to bring it to life. She set expectations on how long it would take as well as a price estimate.
Scheduling/deposit was easy (I used Zelle to send deposit) and was done through DMing directly with artist.
Shop was very clean and tidy and had lots of people there solely focused on ensuring the shop was running smoothly and the artists/customers had all they needed. The environment was very welcoming as I was greeted by almost everyone when I walked in the door. My artist (Olive) then came and got me and escorted me to the chair where we talked through placement. They offered water/restroom as well as put my bag in a secure location. The employees/artists of the shop were very friendly and kept the atmosphere very light by chatting and joking with each other. One thing I also really liked is that all other artists were so supportive of each other, complimenting the work others were doing or coming over to give a word of encouragement (my artist was tattooing me for 6+ hours!) to each other.
Safe to say I was nervous because this was my first tattoo - wasn't sure how to act/where to go/what to expect, but everyone made me feel comfortable in the environment.
Special shout-out to Olive who did amazing work and was very professional and gentle, checking in with me as we went.
Will be going back.
