Only giving three stars because gator has a great attitude. Got my nose pierced that went great. Only thing is that jewelry selection sucks. Also this place needs better hygiene

this tattoo shop is super unprofessional. when i was 18, they did my tattoo backwards. like, permanent art on my body, done as a mirror image that i later had to have covered up and fixed.
Started on my full back piece yesterday! Looks amazing, super awesome atmosphere and people! Cant wait for follow-up sessions to complete the Magik!
Greg from Black Gold studios is not only an amazing free hand custom tattoo artist but he's a true gentleman and will treat you just like friend and family. I came in as a stranger and left feeling like a brother. And his tattoo work is one of a kind :-) Everything is clean, sterile, professional and you even get to watch TV and pick awesome music Have a great conversation with him. His tools supplies and equipment or some of the best ever.... Make sure you follow their Instagram page to keep up to date and be patient when booking an appointment because they're very busy.
I went in on a Sunday (to my surprise they were open unlike any other tattoo/piercing shop) and I was greeted by staff. I asked if they had time for a walk-in and without hesitation I was brought to a chair. Sol was my artist. He was very professional and took his time making sure my tattoo was exactly what I wanted and where I wanted it. He even suggested a finishing touch that made my tattoo POP and look even better than I planned. He played good music, had good conversation, and made me feel very comfortable being there. It’s so hard to find tattoo artists that actually care about what you want and not change it into their own idea. He knew the significance of my tattoo and how much it meant to me and I couldn’t be more thankful for that!!!! He also informed me about tattoo removal for a tattoo that I want gone, so I will be going back in the near future to do that. I’m also booking a chest piece with him. I would refer anyone and everyone to this shop!!!! Thank you sol, for giving me a tattoo that I love!!!!!!!!
Also, I forgot to mention that I had called earlier in the day to make sure they were in shop, and Greg answered. He wasn’t there but was willing to stop what he was doing to meet me there. You don’t find service like that anywhere!!!!
Amazing Artists owner treats all his clients like family. Very homey atmosphere. Great work.
