Went here for lunch while waiting for my car at the dealership close by. Had the 9oz house cab and the chicken fried steak. Really good food. The rolls were huge, hot and delicious. Mashed potatoes with cream gravy were perfect and the coleslaw was good. Chicken fried steak was really good and crispy. I'd definitely go back because the service was also amazing! Good food and service are rare these days!
Why the 5 Stars? BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT! Kawanda was the best waitress, she was very friendly and gave us great service! The Store Manager even checked on us a couple times and even helped our kids finish their food with a Big Chocolate Chip Cookie bribe. The food was great. Thanks guys ????????
Worst experience ever at this restaurant. Ordered the baked squash and they just skipped putting it in our order. No substitution and nothing was said to me at pickup. Also didn’t include gravy in one of our dishes. Portion sizes are half of what they used to be. Very bad experience after supporting this restaurant for years. Don’t know if we will be back. Disappointed to say the least
We ordered the Fiesta bowl salad, Sr Pot Roast and Irish pie with steamed broccoli and broccoli rice casserole. Everything was amazingly delicious - and their dinner roll is the best out there.
Our Waitress was attentive, polite and prompt. She made the visit enjoyable and a good experience. She was the one who said her father was over 6' tall.
Service was professional & prompt. Servings are plentiful. I am never ' rushed' through my dining so the restaurant can have a high turnover, as experienced at IHOP. Icings and frostings on Black Eyed Pea cakes, is creamy, smooth. Cakes are moist. Took my Carrot Cake home. Stayed fresh & moist 3-plus days. BEP provides menu selections not offered by other Denver Metro Restaurants IE,. Chicken & Dumplings. Don't miss this opportunity to go hungry. It will be so worth your time.
Been going to Black Eyed Pea since I was a kid. I get the same thing every time and I'm never disappointed. Chicken fried chicken with extra gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli and cheese casserole, and black eyed peas. Service was outstanding on my last visit. Thank you
Was leaving work so I ordered dinner for the family. Pick it up on the way home. I was early so sat at the bar patiently waiting. Bartender acknowledge me, repeatedly thanked me for my patience. Order was 20 mins late from promised. Get my order head home. Get home and no gravy for the Chicken Fried steak. Called in asked for a refund as our whole dinner was ruined. Was told that wouldn't happen. I would get a $20. Credit for next visit. Unacceptable. If you bring home dinner and the restaurant screws up one meal it ruins the whole meal for the family. The manager of this store has no clue what customer service is. Corporate notified. Bringing the whole meal back tomorrow.
