First time trying out this place today.
The food was delicious!! The service was great!!
The place is clean and very cozy! Cool atmosphere. We will definitely be going back in the future! Great spot to go in pairs, groups or solo. Kids would enjoy this place I think. They also have a mini gift shop in the front by the desk when you pay for your food after you eat.
We were traveling south on I-5 near Wilsonville Oregon and noticed the Black Bear diner sign and it was past lunch time so we thought we would stop in for a quick bite and enjoy the black bear diner atmosphere . Getting to the restaurant off the freeway and then back on to the freeway was a breeze. There was a gas station within the complex area as well so We were able to fuel up the car as well.
The food was good and the service was very good. We have been to several black bear diners and this one was as good as the rest of them.
This visit we tried new dishes. My wife had the cheeseburger salad with 1000 Island dressing and reported that it was delicious. There was so much food she was only able to eat half of it at the table and took the rest home.
I tried the chili with the corn bread muffin both were very good The chili had the right amount of heat, lots of meat and was very tasty. The portion size was very good. The corn muffin was warm, moist and the taste was excellent.
We both would have those dishes again.
It was not crowded when we went around 1:30 on a weekday.
It was a busy, busy day at the diner for a Saturday Brunch.
Got a seat for a group of 5 within 15 minutes, good selection of brunch items, tasty and exceptional customer service. Server was busy but made it a point to ask for coffee every few minutes.
Had healthy options too.
I absolutely loved it. It made me feel like I was at home and had a cozy feeling. We had two waitresses who were just great. My friend and I were not hurried up to go.
Best darn decaf I've had and was kept up being refilled. I'm a coffee drinker
One waitress and I talked and had a bit in common w a simple ❤️. It was emotional for me as I lost my mom in 2023, and the waitress gave me a beautiful pin she had on her work outfit. How sweet is that and that made me a ball of tears. Don't always come across something like that and it was so unexpected. I also always wear a heart like a stone necklace. Perfect!
I will be a return customer for sure. Just a great atmosphere, comfort, employers, coffee of course, food...I was super impressed.

We met here for breakfast before we had to leave town. We were blown away by the portions of food that you get. And the service was outstanding. The waitress told us about the specials and that's exactly what I ordered. We would definitely eat here again.
This place was recommended to me by a family member. They have great food, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful staff. We stopped in for brunch and were seated immediately. The food came fast and hot, and the portions were large. The Reuben sandwich was great, the breakfast was amazing, and my kid loved his chicken strips and fries. We will be stopping by again next time we are in town.
Ordered the Grizz with a side of Biscuits and gravy, the food was hot and very delicious, my wife is in a wheelchair and the wait staff went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. Definitely going to be stopping by again
Fairly nice experience, the vegi Omelet was very good. The service was good even though I wished if I wanted a refill on my ice tea.
The gravy on my mom's country Fried Steak and eggs was very bland.
The steak seemed unnecessarily too tuff.
Hash brown were just ok. I would say a little too greasy.
