Authentic, southern soul, food! Good home cooking. Very friendly. We had Fried chicken, butter, beans, turnip greens, macaroni and cheese and rice with gravy all of it was delicious!! Nice big portions:)
First time visiting Cordele. I wanted some soul food, so I decided to give BJ's restaurant a try. The restaurant was friendly and warm, which made me feel like I was home. I enjoyed the fried cornbread, fried chicken, and black eye peas.
If you haven't eaten at BJ's Diner, I feel sad for you. The best cabbage on the planet. Delicious food, owner on site, and she's a gem with a great sense of humor!
The owner is so sweet and so is her staff. Mona is phenomenal and so helpful. Everyone is so helpful. The best southern soul food around!
