I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food that they had. Southern cooking at its best. From homemade biscuits to boiled shrimp to collard greens to the dessert bar, it all was yummy. I had fried green tomatoes for the first time in years. Cooked perfectly!!
The staff was extra friendly and always kept my drink filled to removing our dirty plates. I was super impressed.
The price was reasonable for the variety of food that they had. We were able to walk right in and be seated. They demand respectfulness from their guest by having your pants where they belong on your hips without the underwear from showing. Very polite coming and leaving. This restaurant is huge if you'd like to have a small or large get-together. I highly recommend you try this if you're off the beaten path.
This place has become my all-time favorite
The place is clean, the food is awesome, the staff is incredible. The food is seasoned to the max. Whether you're on keto or Mediterranean diet they have just the right food to meet your accommodations. Ashley was my server and she is the sweetest person ever! ???? And guess what?? I'm not a big fan of brussel sprouts. But oh my goodness the brussel sprouts is the bomb and will melt in your mouth!! Now I'm a big fan of brussel sprouts. ???? This was my first time there and I will definitely be back. ????
Some of the fried items are unrecognizable if I'm being honest but the food is not bad at all. The condiments on the tables make it better of course but all and all the food was not bad at all. I would not mind and probably will go back. If your looking for home cooked country food this place is definitely a contender
Food was not good, servers and atmosphere were great. It's been 10 years since I've been here and it used to be really good. Sad to see, but maybe it'll get better again. I hope so. A lot of memories in this place
I've been 2 times recently. First time food was surprisingly good. Today it wasn't all that great. All of the meat choices looks like they had been out for a long time. Glad I really wanted veggies.
Review is for July of 2023 when we visited. Food was great! Tasted like genuine southern cookin like ya grandma makes. We really enjoyed everything we ate except for the pies, which might have been our personal taste buds. Service was great too. We'll definitely be back. Don't look too closely at the walls or ceiling or corners of the floor. The place is older and you can see the wear and tear but the food is delicious.
I can't find in words what you are missing in good food. This place is AWESOME!!!
