Best WLM Reviews

Overall great experience and fresh food, air conditioned rooms and clean tables. Our gastronomical experience was great, except for a soggy burger bun, sides were good, but nothing special. Our beverages arrived 10 minutes late, upon our request, after food was already served. We have requested a side of bread, which has arrived upon finishing our food. Recommend this place to everybody who is looking for an affordable, yet exquisite experience in little France in DC.
My husband and I are both French living in the US so we were excited to find a “French” restaurant in DC. Terrible experience. Our food was okay, but the host never smiled. It was not busy at all, we got there around 5pm, never smiled. Our server was super friendly, but they should really get a new host, all the restaurants around them were busy and packed, and they weren’t. Probably because of the service.
Good but shady!
Waiter didn’t come to check on us. The food was good. But my steak was medium rare when I asked for medium done.
The reason for taking 3 stars off, on the bill, it’s written they charged for 20% gratuity. But when you calculate it, it’s actually 22%. I understand we had a large party but don’t lie about the charges. Definitely check your bill anytime you go.
Another thing to note about wharf restaurants, this place charges 10% in DC taxes. Le Vie charges 12% in DC taxes.
The food was average. It feels a little bit overpriced. The menu has less options to pick other than beef or pork. There are seafood options but no chicken. Tried the "goat cheese omelette" was average, nothing special. Will not recommend this place if you want to try oht different things. It's a nice place to enjoy your lunch or dinner right near the wharf.
A charming and approachable French restaurant located right on the water in the bustling wharf/waterfront area.
From the chicken legs to the muscles, all the food was a home run.
The service was prompt and friendly.
Gorgeous views of the water, too!
Only one on-site restroom though.
Came for happy hour but wound up staying over two hours. The views are magnificent. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. The drinks were strong and delicious and the food was wonderful.
We’ve been here so many times! I forgot to post all the pics, but here’s some! I absolutely LOVE their chocolate croissants and anything with whipped butter. It’s such a cute spot on the wharf and the service is usually good. This is one of my go-to brunch spots!
Bonjour!
Service was top notch. The best!
Ate here for New Year's Eve and had breakfast here. The food is great and service excellent. Bonne dégustation!
For breakfast I had the omelet. The crispy (pommes) fingerlings were just the right amount of crispy, the salad tasty, and the omelet cooked just right too.
I want to compliment my NYE server (Ivy) and this morning's server (Adrian). Thank you Ivy and Adrian!!
