Warm service that made us feel welcome! The food was good and filling, and the portions felt perfect. I got the jerk chicken which I thoroughly enjoyed, though wasn’t the biggest fan of the rice and beans having a risotto-like consistency (tasted good though). I always get the butternut squash and apple soup to start— one of my favorites!
The service is warm, welcoming and the food is delicious, their Lobster cream or soup warmed my soul in a special way.
But their Turkey avocado hamburger will make a fest of fresh healthy flavors in your mouth.
I strongly recommend this special, unique restaurant/ Bistro at Amherst by the centric Boltwood St.
First impression was great! Super friendly and fast service. The food was incredible, You need to try the poutine. The chicken sandwich was juicy and tender. The tiramisu was fresh and moist. All the food was plated well. In all the whole experience was great and very affordable. Thank you again to our amazing waiter Enzo!

The food was good. I don't know if the poutine holds up to Canadian standards but it was good, cheesy and plenty of bacon pieces. The blackened scallops were great, the side rice was tasty but very heavy. My friend ordered the risotto but we were disappointed because her rice was undercooked which is sort of ironic for a risotto.
The cocktails here are seriously on-point! Innovative and inspired, I had the Speziato and the Unicorn Blood, and both were very well balanced and bursting with flavor.
The Blackened Scallops were quite good, though I think the cheesy bacon risotto was the star of that dish. Definitely would recommend this bistro on a quiet Monday night.
Everything I’ve tried on this menu is top notch, service is excellent, the atmosphere is calm and elegant, great place to take the family, a date, or friends when in town visiting.
Beer selection is local and delicious, the cocktails are creative, refreshing, and most importantly (a common theme with this restaurant), delicious.

First time here. Sat at the bar since it's usually a great experience no matter where we go. The specialty drinks knocked our socks off, unicorn blood and foxglove. Then we ordered main courses which did not disappoint! Absolutely delish. I got blackened scallops, and my partner got the chevre burger. Very different and both very tasty. If you want a very unexpected foodie treat with a laid back atmosphere and reasonable prices, this is your place.
To start my experience at this restaurant the pitcher of water I received had cheese and other unidentifiable things floating around it. Inside my cup of water, it looked like I had pepper floating around also. The menu had a good selection to pick from and all three of us picked a meal fairly quickly. Then we waited 45 minutes until our waiter told us it be out in 10 minutes and that she was sorry. 15 minutes later we were about to get up and leave befor she came over to us and apologize again letting us know our food is coming out right now. It was very slow in there and not a lot of customers for us to be waiting that long. We ended up WAITING OVER A HOUR for 3 dishes!!! To top it all off the food wasn't even good. The only upside to the restaurant is that we got to sit outside and the waiter was somewhat nice. I wish that they had told us when we sat down that the wait would have been this long. The worst part about all of this is that we had a reservation for over two weeks ago to go here. I would highly recommend no one to go here unless you are trying to kill a lot of time.
