I had a short cut at this place. Waited 7 minutes more after the appointment time. Baber Jen asked for what I would like. I showed her the photo but I mentioned I would like some advice to look better. But she did not give any useful suggestions and recommendations.
Basically the haircut was done in 20 minutes. During the time she keeps cutting, blowing the hairs, cutting, which feels weird to me. I initially cut the hair myself to a blunt bang and I was hoping she could do some detail shave on it to make it more natural. She did something to have a texture but it still looks somewhat weird to me. But she just said this is better. I actually expect something more from this. Because in total I pay 64. I can get the same simple cut with 20+.
I had a great experience at Bishops Santa Clara. They have a nice spacious area with a huge salon right next to Whole Foods. I’ve been here for a long cut for quite a few years . My most recent experience my long cut has been with Kat. Kat was warm and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. She talked me through every step of the haircut and what her vision for the haircut was. Apart from that, i picked her brain on a lot of styling and hair care tips which she graciously dispensed while ensuring it was her personal opinion and that I should always rely on my own research. All in all, I had a great time. Thanks Bishops and Kat!
New to cali so couldn’t trust just anyone with my hair and I’m glad i waited till i found Tina!!
Went in for a consultation and walked out knowing this is exactly the kind of service i was looking for ????
Super satisfied with how my hair turned out!
10/10!!! Not being from the area, I struggled finding a salon that could cut my hair the way I wanted without charging at least $100. They got me in same day and the customer service was wonderful. Tina cut my hair, she was kind and personable and did an amazing job. The salon itself was very nice and clean. Can’t wait to go back for my next cut!!!
I don’t live in the area but my daughter recommended Bishops. it was late on Sunday afternoon, but I was able to get in quickly. Michelle was my stylist, and she gave me a nice, new haircut. I usually don’t go that short but she did a nice job and I received some good compliments. I may stop in there again if I happen to be in need of a haircut and visiting Santa Clara.
I worked with Tina to get my hair colored and trimmed and oh my god did she do an amazing job! She was so wonderful to work with and educated me on everything she was doing to my hair and the results came out so nice. I was worried with how processed my hair already was, if it would come out gummy, but it still feels great. I will be coming back to Tina for my future hair needs for sure !

I've been a regular at Bishop's for over 6+ months since I looked it up online. I've gotten my haircuts and grey blending done with Tina, Kat, and Binh who usually do a phenomenal job.
Their services are also quite affordable in comparison to other studios I've been to in the past, plus you get the perk of shopping at Whole Foods post service to celebrate your new look.
First time trying this place out and they gave me the best person to handle my hair. Tina is incredible. Not only is her stylist level up high but so is her customer service. Great experience and was incredibly happy with the way my hair turned out. Will definitely come back again but only if I get Tina
