My 2012 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from this shop in February 2023. The owner has promised to pay me $6,000.00 for my car out of court but I have not received any form of payment. He wanted to pay me increments of $300.00 a week and claim a loophole in the contract was found and the shop does not have theft insurance. The owner has been promising to pay since March of 2023, then told me I should have the money on September 1, 2023 here it is now January 2024 and no payment has been given in regards to his promises of pay. I chose this shop due to the owner and I growing up in the same neighborhood and I was supporting him with his own business and being successful. But now after no payment has been made and almost a year has gone by and he has been avoiding me when I send text messages and not answering my phone calls sending them to voicemail, I have no choice but to get the courts to handle this situation. I have been so patient with him but nothing has happened and I’m sorry but I cannot support him in this case due to his actions and negligence about the whole situation as if a whole car wasn’t stolen from his place of business and the only vehicle that was stolen at that time. Please be careful with this shop and its loophole if your vehicle is ever stolen from here. By the way bishop tiger muffler is now called ZZ Automotive to clear up any confusion as to why I posted here and another one under ZZ Automotive shop and its owned by the same person who took over bishop’s.
What could be worse breaking down on a record hot day with 3 large dogs half way thru a 9 hour drive???? We were very fortunate that the minivan only broke a belt and we had a little time to find a shop. I called my son a mechanic in Maryland to ask who I should go to. Batteries on everything were dying. He said he would call me right back and luckily he did and he sent us to Bishop. The shop was packed and busy when we got there but they were super fast to see us and immediately set the dogs up with a shady spot and a hose. They fit us in and really saved the day. The work was perfect. If I lived in Henderson this would be my GO TO SHOP!
Bishops will only leave you with a bad experience and an even MORE messed up car than you already had, go to someone you know and trust before going here.
I work in Durham M-F, so time was of the essence. Early one Saturday morning not too long ago, without an appointment, I stopped by for what I thought was only to have my brakes replaced. I end up needing to replace my rotors and one of the calibers too. Fortunately, all went well and I was pulling out of the garage two hours later. The owner even replaced one of my backlight bulbs that I wasn't even aware was blown. I was so grateful and thankful. I will definitely be back.
Had a bad experience at this place. Cost me time and money. My car never drove the same again and cost me hundreds of dollars. Better to go to the dealership.
Ive been to bishops twice for repairs to my honda and have had nothing but excellent service. Everyone is so friendly.I got there at 8am and the owner offered to get us biscuits and coffee. They worked on my car in a timely manner and the prices were unbeatable. He even showed me the part that he removed so I'd know it was new parts put into my car. Before leaving the owner talks to you personally about everything they did and you see him checking on the workers as they are doing it so it's not just someone at a desk that doesn't know what they're doing.
I have been going to Bishop's for years, I have always received excellent and courteous service. I have referred people and they have the same opinion and I don't give referrals easily. If you have any type of problems very easy to talk to and problem can be solved, my opinion.
The best hands down I took my car here twice. And both times the problem was fixed. And Bishop was very nice and truthful, gave me a unbeatable price. Thank u bishop and may God bless u.
