Best WLM Reviews

Food was good, ordered takeout and didn't receive half of what we ordered. I've requested a refund for the amount of what we didn't get and have not heard back or received a refund yet. My advice.. don't waste your time getting food here if they are busy. Didn't go well at all. Update: Biscuits Cafe got back to me and was very courteous about making it right. I feel much better about this experience now. Thank you.
Amazing service! Big portions and really good food, will 100% be coming back.
To the management that actually care & those who do not want to get food poisoning:
Today Feb19th 2023 I visited the Gresham location biscuits cafe. I am a regular, my husband and I visit here quite frequently. In fact we subscribe to the membership points system. Today I was served veggie head omelette that was made with rotten avocados. No, this was not the normal browning of a very ripe avocado, this was a rotten avocado with black spots. I called the waitress to show her the rotten food and she dismissed it as a normal situation. The manager also dismissed it as a normal situation and in fact became confrontational with my party of 5 because we no longer wanted the rotten food. The manager refused to apologize and insulted me by offering to take half the price of the meal off. This was a $16 meal. I did not want or need a free meal. What I wanted was a genuine concern for serving rotten food and an apology. The manager was flippant about the situation as if this is a regular occurrence at this location. I am concerned that this is the norm. How many times have I been served food made with rotten ingredients at this location? Please call me back. I have photos I would love to share with you. This manager was a tall man with a large tattoo on their fore-arm. I will leave a google review as well. The appropriate way to handle this situation was to apologize and reassure your customer that this is a one off mistake and you will check with the kitchen to make sure it doesn’t happen. That is not what we received. I am extremely disappointed and hoping that we don’t get sick from consuming rotten food. I am just hoping that this “service” we received has nothing to do with our skin color.
Extremely busy, but that's normal for Sundays. The restaurant needs more space. The poor staff in constantly running into customers, tables, and chairs. It feels like they are beyond capacity as far as person to space ratio. The staff was clearly understaffed and under paid.
Regarding the food... I ordered a blended coffee, and Stuffed Strawberry French Toast. My coffee was never received. My French toast was most definitely not stuffed but instead the filling was in-between slices. The strawberries on top were still partially frozen. Why you would place frozen fruit on top of hot french toast is beyond me. When I brought this to the waitress attention, she was beyond understanding and worked with us as much as she could to make the situation better. I wanted to thank her for her compassion.
To the owners of this location, I think you need to do more for you staff and make some positive changes. I saw customers leave before being seated because it took too long to be addressed, which is no fault of the staff. People love your company's food, but the quality definitely lacked this time.
The service was great!
What was not so great was the food and the amount of time it took to get our food. The wait was about an hour long.
The corn beef hash was very tough and dry and the potatoes seemed to be over cooked. After waiting for that long the last thing we wanted to do was wait to get a new one.
I ordered a cinnamon roll that they claim to be “freashly baked” on the menu but I saw when it was taken out of a saran wrap plastic by our waiter and tossed in the microwave. I wouldn’t of said anything if it was at least good but it was stale and quickly became cold dry and uneatable.
The breakfast burrito was probably the best thing of the Three things I tried.
Definitely not the best breakfast it was mediocre to say the least.
This used to be one of our go-to breakfast places. Not anymore. There are so many better places than this. The staff isn't the problem, they have consistently been great. They used to have a Benedict that was to die for but it hasn't been on the menu for years. Also the prices have nearly doubled in the last 5 years. Expect to pay $60 for breakfast for 2. With nothing distinguishing it from it's competition and a crowded loud dining room I don't think I will ever go back. Too bad. It used to be a good place.
We went on a Sunday (just after a week snowed in) around 10:30ish and hit their busy hour.
The place is not huge, but they maximized seating and the huge windows make it feel open and bright. When it is busy, it feels crowded and cozy.
Staff was super friendly and gave great service. We had a bit of a wait time, but I think it was simply the busiest time on a busy day.
The food tasted good and portions were decent. There aren't a lot of 'vegetarian' options and I didn't notice what kind of gluten free options they had (I'm sure they had a few). I liked that they had a good variety of breakfast and lunch foods... Certainly a hearty and filling kind of food. I was pleased with the quality of their onion rings.
There is a decent kids menu, though you certainly could split an adult plate with a child dependent on size/appetite of the child.
Bathrooms were clean.
The parking lot isn't huge (I couldn't get a good sense of the handicap situation because there were piles of snow from the snow plow). I believe it's all handicap accessible for those who use wheelchairs or walkers.
My husband and I just had breakfast today. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee is strong and good. They have coffee creamers, sugar, and condiments at the table.
