Best WLM Reviews
We finally had a chance to check this spot out while passing through over the weekend.
It was very busy and gave us high hopes for what to expect.
We got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit.
The biscuit was very dense, the type that sticks to the roof of your mouth. The bacon was cooked to the perfect level of crispness, but unfortunately, it lacked in flavor. The eggs and cheese were also just kind of there, more as a texture than a flavor.
Overall, we weren't impressed with the biscuit, but we didn't hate it. If half stars were available, we'd give it a 3.5.
Had the jalapeño cheddar, sausage egg n cheese biscuit! Was awesome!
Just small town biscuit place. Just take out. But AWESOME biscuits.
new owners, super dry bisquits now, had to choke down last one I got. not going back. used to be a favorite. ????
All good things come to an end, and so goes the biscuit maker. They've either changed ownership or have hired a whole new batch of lower quality employees.
I ate here three weeks ago and also today. Big difference in food. Three weeks ago I purchased a plate with eggs, bacon and gravy biscuit. Real eggs because the shell piece told me so, not mad, happy for real eggs. Bacon was a bit crispy and tough, gravy was wonderful. Today I ordered same plate as last time, but was disappointed in eggs. The eggs tasted terrible, obviously poured from a carton, and the oil they cooked them in added a nasty taste to them. I don't eat eggs at Burger King or Bojangles because of the oil they use. The bacon was great this time and gravy and biscuits were great again. I'll ask about eggs on my next visit, if they are from a carton not interested. I hope they go back to using real eggs or change the oil they use for cooking. Nice staff and fast service. If they have to raise prices to provide quality that is in their best interest. They should also move, they are hidden from customers. I'm glad the owner reads the reviews. They always use real eggs, I just wish they would use something else to cook them with it leaves a bad taste.
Not impressed. Its just hard to find a GOOD homemade biscuit these days.
Very reasonably-priced biscut, great qaulity and speedy service!
