The chicken tika kabab, chicken seekh kabab, and naan with lamb biryani were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were exquisite, and the service was exceptional. These guys make of one of the best Goat Karahi. Loved it and will continue to come back.
Amazing food. The cheese naan is incredible. Rice is so good. Chicken Palak is great too.
Ordered the goat biryani, pakora, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan.
Goat biryani was exquisite. Easily the best of what I ordered. 10/5 amazing.
Chicken Tikka Masala was incredibly bland. No seasoning. Tasted like someone heated up tomato sauce and called it a day. I was so confused thinking I got a bad batch? But apparently other reviewers have experienced the same. I would not recommend. I would eat the frozen meal Chicken Tikka Masala from Trader Joe’s before ever ordering one from here again.
Garlic naan was good, veggie pakora was alright.
I’ll only come back for the biryani.
I ordered Lamb seekh kebab, Keema naan, Dal makhani, Samosa with Channa.
Lamb seekh kebab was delicious. I was hesitant to order as I thought it might be full of masala and wont taste good. Keema naan is also worth trying.
Channa masala and Dal makhani didn't meet my expectations but I will definitely be ordering kebab and keema naan again!
I absolutely love the food here! The cheese naan,& biryani are the best in town. Whenever I am having a bad day, this food cheers me up. The flavor is consistent, seasoned properly and the meat is tender. I am glad I found them after they moved from the 13th st location. This is definitely a most try if you want a delicious meal in downtown Oakland!!!
The food was pretty good, but there wasn't much meat in the Chicken Biryani, only like four pieces of chicken and they also had the bone in it which I'm not used to.
I also ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, which seemed like it should have at a minimum still came with rice to go with it, but there was nothing saying that it came with rice. It seemed like a small portion for the price without anything else to help fill you or anyone else you were sharing it with make it into a meal.
Best cheese naan in the US
The place is kind of unassuming so I wouldn’t go there for the vibe but the food is well made and great flavors. The cheese naan was the best me and my partner have had in the US as we’ve been trying to find one that compares to our favorite place in Japan. Lol. Def recommend the lamb curry as well.
Service could be more attentive but overall they are kind.
