This time experience was bad to be frank worst. I always, always come to biryani pot in Indian street and I love the biryani. But this time I visited after 3months and I don’t whether something changed, but I ordered usual - special chicken biryani and it is worst. I also ordered mutton haleem even that didn’t taste good. Gravy was good. I am so disappointed with chicken biryani, because I love Jersey city biryani pot chicken biryani, I travel 50mins to have biryani here, and my experience this time is worst. For 2 mutton haleem and 1 chicken biryani it costs me $63.55 which is more as well.
My recent visit to Biryani Pot left much to be desired. Despite ordering the non-veg lunch combo, I was disappointed with several aspects of the meal. Firstly, instead of the requested roti, I received naan. Additionally, the chicken curry lacked the customary accompaniment of raita, which diminished the overall dining experience. Moreover, the portion of mutton in the biryani was noticeably sparse, consisting of only one small piece. Considering these shortcomings, coupled with the price tag of $18.10, I found the meal to be lacking in both quality and value. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied and unlikely to return in the future.
The worst food I've ever received. My friend ordered family boneless chicken special biryani. Firstly it's taken an one n hour to arrange the biryani platter is unbelievable. Secondly just for the name sake its a family platter it costs us 74$ including taxes but the platter they have given is sufficient for 2-3 persons the same biryani if you order in restaurant they will give a lot but i donno what happens when it comes to online quantity sucks if you order a single regular biryani it costs you around 15 even you order 4 it will be good filling for you. At last coming to quality it sucks i got a small stones and a lady hair follicles in biryani i donno why the people who work there won't follow quality and saftey precautions over customers food i lost my appetite by seeing such atrocious activities. If i got a chance ill definitely report to the food inspector on this and follow legally .more over, there is no rice in biryani only boneless chicken pieces with hair folicles and scrap. I donno what freaking management is doing.
The perfect place to savor biryani in Jersey City , where the staff Rohit deliver exceptional service that enhances the dining experience.
The Chicken biryani was very tasty and comes with raita and curry.
Quantity is enough for 2 people with medium diet.
Service was also quick.
I recently placed a party tray order for the Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani from Biryani Pot located at 824 Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306, and I must express my profound disappointment with both the quality of the food and the abysmal service provided.
To start with, the meat in the Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani was disappointingly tough and hard, making the dining experience far from enjoyable. The meat's texture was a stark contrast to the expected tenderness and succulence that is characteristic of a well-prepared Hyderabadi Biryani. It was evident that the quality of the ingredients or the cooking process had failed to meet even basic standards.
What made matters worse was the fact that the food got spoiled on the very same day it was ordered. This is not only unacceptable but also raises serious concerns about the restaurant's food safety practices. Consuming spoiled food poses significant health risks, and it is deeply unsettling that such negligence was displayed by Biryani Pot. Adding insult to injury, the service I received when attempting to address these issues was nothing short of appalling. The staff, particularly one individual, exhibited a rude and dismissive attitude. Instead of acknowledging the mistake on their part, I was met with defiance and a complete lack of accountability. The response I received was along the lines of, "Do whatever you want" and a disinterest in rectifying the situation. Such behavior is utterly unprofessional and reflects poorly on the establishment. Customers should feel confident that their concerns will be heard and addressed with courtesy, not met with arrogance and indifference. My experience with Biryani Pot on Newark Ave, Jersey City, was extremely disappointing due to the poor quality of the food, its untimely spoilage, and the unapologetically rude service.
"Please Save your Hard Earn Money. Do Not go to this place is unhygienic and the food is risk to health for you, your kids and your loved ones."
ordered family pack goat dum biryani and the pieces in it were very hard and not boiled at all.Biryani doesn't seem fresh.
when i tried calling them to raise our concern, girl in the counter picked up the call and says this is what we have and this is what we serve, despite of taking customers concern and addressing it.
Very bad and harsh attitude and behaviour of the girl.I definitely wont suggest biryani pot for your dining as i don't want any of family or friends get disappointed same like us today.
They have good biryani or classic fried rice , however their crispy chicken lacks a bit of spicy and is rather Sweety. Maybe it is the time when we had the food here.
Also the ac was broken so we had to bear with the heat and eat the food. Overall it was decent for you to try another place to eat.
Menu has limited options so not much to give a thought to. It is usually busy
