Best WLM Reviews
We tried the cheese & regular soft tacos w/ consome! Super delicious & reasonably priced! Everything tasted fresh— especially the red onion garnish. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming.
Will definitely come again!
I had an appointment near by so I decided to stop in for lunch afterwards, and let me tell you, it’s my new favorite place, not only was the food amazing but it’s a really nice restaurant I got two cheesy tacos and you get chips and salsa for the table, it was perfect and very filling, I told everyone about it before I was even done eating, it’s so authentic and definitely going back soon, I’m usually not a fan of Mexican restaurants but this one is so well priced and gives you a taco truck vibe but you actually get to sit down and have a good dining experience 10/10 I’ll probably got back tomorrow and the day after????
This place used to be our go-to for birria! I’ve told everyone I know about it. The first time(s) I ate here was such an experience and was SO good!
But, all good things must come to an end.
Yesterday was the final time we will visit. Our food was cold (which as you know, makes the cheap cheese just congeal) and our service took forever.
Everything we got was cold, bland and massively under cooked unfortunately. The consume tasted off, and lacked the punch it normally has/had.
Yesterday wasn’t a one-off either. It has been the past 3-4 times we have gone and I just assumed it was a fluke until now. Now I just realize the quality has tanked.
Dropping this 5* establishment down to a 2* breaks my heart
I heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it out. As a food lover who wants to try different authentic cuisines, it was a great opportunity to try some Mexican food. The best part is that beef and chicken are halal. In fact that was the deciding factor for me to try out this restaurant. From the outside, it doesn't look big, but once u enter inside, you will realize otherwise. On our entry, we were greeted by the staff. Since it was not crowded, the waitresses directed us to a table. Our orders didn't take long to come out. It was nice. The staff was very nice and checked with us during our meal if everything was fine and if we needed something. The bill for 3 adults and 2 kids came around $70. I would definitely go back and try out some of their other dishes.
Ordered a pizza birria for my wife and I. Delicious with the soup that goes with the meat. Ordered a kids quesadilla but for some reason it came with fries instead of the rice and beans? Service was vague up until the waitress that came afterwards saved the day. The drinks were an issue $4.50 for a “1/2 liter soda when they were 12 oz? Over priced drinks. Overall experience 2nd time was ok. Not the worst but not the best either only the food was delicious
Loved the taco to be dipped in the soup. Yum. And the mango tamarind shake had a nice sweet tangy twist.
Valeria was our sever, and as we arrived, she was busy... however, she did a fantastic job at getting our drink and dinner orders. Valeria was also very attentive to our needs. Couldn't have asked for better service.
The food was great! I ordered Caldo de Birria, and it was amazing. Due to my medical issue, I couldn't eat all of it, and it was quite a bit of food... which is not a complaint but an unexpected treat since restaurants tend to lack the protein when serving soups. The food was well presented, and the flavor was top tier.
The atmosphere was open, comfortable, and energetic. The music brings me back to my younger years when I would go out at the dance halls.
If I had a choice to say which of these three were my favorite... I would have to say Valeria. We walked into her getting swamped with customers, and she took care of us with grace, patience, and accuracy.
Thank you, Valeria. Hope to see you again.
Wonderful nice place, slightly hidden. I’d recommend this for those who have a thirst for a savory dish. I was specifically looking for birria cheese taco with consome and this was right in my nose. Taco Tuesday entails of two cheese birria tacos, rice&beans, and consome for $10. The food is great, come and check this place out!
