I have been here for years. The employees are really nice and so is the owner. His mother and father also sometimes work in the restaurant. It's used to be a great mom & pops restaurant. The birria is well seasoned and tender.
However, the owner seems to have this new supervisor who goes around the restaurants and tallies the sales and other manager duties. This supervisor is the worst. This man talked down at a friend and I because we asked if my 9 year old could use the restroom. He said they don't allow people in their restroom, but another customer was just let in. He let an older person pass, but not a child. I let him know the owner has let us in use the restroom in past visits. This man told us with a smirk, "Well, do you see the owner now? It is not my problem." Just plain rude, just for that, I don't think I will return. I don't give my money to places that treat their patrons in a rude matter. If he is like this to the customers, I can imagine how he is with the employees that he manages.
As soon as I walk in I felt unwelcome the last at the register couldn't put her phone away, I order and wow, I don't mind to o pay for food but 20 dollar for a cup of water and salt, no condiments at all the tortillas were gone already. And more attitude to pick up my order! I'm disabled and she saw that and she said go get your order back there. I could barely walk that day.
The food was great! I got a 3/4 of a pound of the birria seca. It came with free big conzome. Overall it was good the tortillas man some ppl weren’t lying when they said they aren’t the best, but I ain’t gonna complain since they came free. I do have to say it did caught me of guard the prices are not updated. The sign said it was $25 but I was charged $27.5 so that is 2.50 extra but I mean it may not be much but yeah still not cool in my perspective. I do know they have a sign if you pay with card they do charge a dollar extra so that would be $26 but it still $1.5 extra I don’t understand where that be coming from. Cashier was nice So I can’t complain.
Great food, amazing customer service when the older women is there. This place is all about their food, so keep that in mind when you sit at a table with patio chairs. Their Birria Is amazing, I go there every now and then, since it's a few blocks away from work.
Very disappointed in this place what kind of tacos place that claim to sale birria tacos doesn’t have any? The tacos are below average at best. I got the pork ones. Also they close extremely early. And you cannot even use the bathrooms and they don’t let a lot of people come in.
Long wait. Rude staff. Unless you’re a regular…then you will maybe get a smile. Overflowing trash…brown and bad limes…over priced menu that is NOT worth the price or time. One star because the tortillas were hand made.
Super bad server. The girl went back talk on the phone. We had to back of counter to get are food from cook. Tgis second time we get this type of service in this place. The food was okay but worth it.
Poor customer service, very rude , make your feel very uncomfortable. Couldn’t even finish my food there . Also very expensive for no reason , will never be back and not worth it to come here
