I use to go to Birmanias years ago she was my go to hair stylist never disappointed until I went one day and showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and instead I walked out of there very disappointed with my hair chopped off ???? she saw it on my face how unhappy I was but I couldn’t tell her that I hated it. I just walked out and never went back, I must admit though that she does have good hands my hair would grow super fast after she cut it, I have gone other salons in Perth Amboy and when I would get a hair cut it would not grow anymore. ????
My mother and sisters used to come here every weekend, but Alex's attitude drove us away. She was often grumpy and scolded consumers in front of everyone. She made us seem bad with her bad attitude and rude behavior. We went to another salon where we were treated with decency and respect as valued clients. I would not recommend this place and we were customers for MANY years - 10+ years!
This review is long overdue. If you are a natural black woman do not come here. They’ll make comments like you need a perm and your hair is too rough then proceed to chop your hair off.
I just started going to this salon bc my regular salon was too busy for me on Christmas Eve. They do a great job here and have me in and out. Love it!
Reasonable price and I was very happy with my hair cut. ????????
