Best WLM Reviews

Often overlooked, the Birch Terrace Supper Club and bar offers excellent food at reasonable prices. The service is excellent. The beef brisket sandwich as well as the Reuben, and patty melt were all crowd pleasers, as was the Walleye dinner. We all liked the baked potato, which was done just right. The 100+ year old building was warm and welcoming, and had a great atmosphere . If you are a party of two, ask for a spot in the glassed-in porch for a great view of Grand Marais harbor.
When we first go there it was hard to find the dining area. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The food didn’t take to long to come out. The spaghetti was decent but the noodles were undercooked. The place was just decent for the price.
Best comfort food ever. Very good, well made cocktails. Personable waiter. Will stop here every time I'm in town.
I haven’t eaten there yet, instead closed down the place for an evening.
The bartender was great, no nonsense, as was the place, and inexpensive too compared to most joints in town
One of the oldest buildings in town, it’s beautiful, though it needs some work, but so do I. I’d love to see some more TLC put into it. Regardless, it’s what I’d deem it to be this town’s dive bar and I love it!
They do barbecue and steaks really well, but the other food we got was a bit underwhelming. We got there just before the supper rush, which was nice because things definitely got a bit slow with the staff shortage. Our waiter was pleasant enough for our table, but we every once in a while heard him talking to the other patrons and he sounded a bit gruff.
My son loved his tender meal. My fish was good sans one overcooked piece. Drinks were strong and quick so I didn't mind. ???? Nice view also. (Smoking is allowed outside too if that matters but because of social distancing it isn't a bother though.)
Fantastic smoked meats, specifically the ribs and brisket. Best side was the hashbrowns and atmosphere was really great with a wonderful Christmas tree. We were there for an early Christmas and couldn’t have been more pleased!
We had the burger with fries and homemade mac n' cheese - everything was very delicious! Mac n' cheese was a little rich for my liking, but that's just a preference. Friendly service. Sit indoors or on the porch for a quiet dinner or out on the patio if you're in the bar crowd. Great view of Lake Superior!
