Best WLM Reviews
First time here even though we have lived in the area for over 10 yrs. Went here on a Monday. Nice and quiet..we were one of about 6 parties. Waitress was very attentive. Drinks were good. We ordered apps, drinks and entrees and Our bill was only slightly over $100. Food was tasty though the calamari should have a crispier crust. Every thing else was very tasty. A bit disappointed that 2 of the items my husband and I wanted were sold out but it gives us a reason to visit this neighborhood gem again.
My friend and I wanted to try a new restaurant and ended up at Birch Street Bistro. We LOVED the outside patio. There was a 10-15 min wait due to business but the service was phenomenal.
Kira, our waitress, was beyond accommodating. She was very friendly and had a great sense of humor, we will request her again when we come back!!
The pesto gnocchi was to die for, and the cheesy garlic bread, for it's price, was well worth it. Has just enough of a quantity to share. The pork dumplings were amazing as well!
Great wine and alcohol selection, mixed drink menu was very well-priced with a huge variety!
Had a great dinner there with a group of friends. The service was great. Even the owner was very attentive.
I had duck with gnocchi in a brown sauce that was delicious. I couldn't believe the large proportions that were served with the fish and chips.
Amazing coconut shrimp and lamb. The red Sangria was strong!! Had a great and quiet evening. Service was superb!
What a wonderful and fantastic restaurant. Downtown Boston style food in urban atmosphere. Interior decoration is absolutely superb. Back deck, great staff, they could have a larger selection of beer but it's okay. Mostly protein-based entrees...
Their daily specials are amazing. Their meats are typically cooked to perfection with awesome style and presentation.
If you live near here I highly suggest you take a visit..
Swordfish was delightfully tender inside with a nice crispy skin bathed in a light chimichurri sided by crisp plantains. Vegan fresh fettuccini (not shown) was garlicky and tasty. Paired with hoppy beer the dishes were scrumptious. Service was slow on a busy Saturday but server was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was inviting and great for a cool autumn night.
Been here several times over the last few weeks and have always had a good experience. The food is delicious and the drinks are great. The servers have all been very nice. I like to come here because there is never a wait for a table. Sometimes they do have live music, which can be a little loud.
we had a lovely time here. we asked to split a couple 0f menu items and the kitchen staff actually plated the salad on two plates. that was a nice touch. the sword fish was very good. this bistro fits right into this neighborhood
just love it.
