ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL FOOD!!! I loved it all. The goi (mango salad with squid (my fave!!!)), the pho ap chao (fried noodles in seafood), and the shaken beef ???? Pricing was really good!! Food was so devastatingly delicious omg I need more. Service was great and the ambiance was nice! Definitely am waiting for the next time I come here and I know I will crave the dishes I already ordered but the whole menu looks so delicious!!!
Went here a while back and thought it looked good but the food was not it. The noodles were hard to eat and made my throat feel itchy with each bite (I'm not allergic to anything), either too fried or too dry. BUT the oysters put me to death several hours later, pretty sure I got food poisoning. Service was just ok.
Today I went to this restaurant to get lunch. When I went inside, the restaurant did not look bad and service was ok. I ordered the “Vegan Stir Fried Crispy / Soft Thick Rice Noodle” to go. After I went home to eat my lunch, the food I ordered look VERY unappetizing. The vegetables were burnt and got the black burnt stuff on my noodles. I write this review to hope they make better food next time. I will not EVER return again and if I could give them 0 stars, I would.
Mediocre food.
The shrimp was too sweet.
The grilled octopus got a bit of funk after a while.
The restaurant needed to be aired out.
If you're looking for this style of food, I'd recommend OC Lau!
Good but nowhere near as amazingly fresh as Oc & Lau Restaurant. The food here is fair and it does get pretty busy with lines during peak times
Really confusing menu and not very helpful staff!
Seems like they have a ton of selection but super confusing to select anything from their menu.
While dining, we noticed most people (if not all) were ordering fried catfish. As much as I love fish, I am not a catfish person. Other than fried catfish, there's really not much offered here: tiny portions, similar sauces, and really unhelpful staff.
Restaurant doesn't offer any bit of atmosphere, it's cramped and not very tidy.
The place has a good crowd going at lunch though there wasn’t a queue. Service was ok. Food came at decent timings. Most of the dishes were decent. We loved the lotus root salad the most. The ingredients are crunchy and the dressing is refreshing. Prices are reasonable for the portions.
Book a table/RSVP through Yelp to avoid waiting up to 2 hours. Even though I book through Yelp, but can sometimes wait 10-15 mins when I arrive.
Foods plenty of options if you love seafood. However, the quality is dropping compared to a year ago, so hopefully, they can improve it.
