Well, Google is making it very difficult to contribute to Billy‘s bar and Grill. This is now my fourth time, and I am using voice to text as I am tired of text typing this. The waitress was phenomenal. Food was very good. The tater tots were perfectly cooked. The fettuccine was excellent, and the chicken was well done, along with the attentive waitress, she was not overbearing and she was very friendly, and did a good job of explaining everything. The menu was very inclusive and my partner who was there enjoyed his meal just as much as I did. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Look forward to coming back again.
Had the Prime rib special, king cut. I think it was 20oz. It's was delicious.... Tender and seasoned well. Service was good. The atmosphere was a bit loud and the interior needs to be cleaned up/refreshed/modernized. It's my regular stop for Saturday dinner on the patio during the Anoka classic car show. 1 small complaint, don't serve margarine spread.
We went to a buffet lunch at Billy's Bar and Grill for Easter. Due to my brother having some balance issues, it would have been somewhat difficult for him carrying dishes of food while going down steps. The staff there went above and beyond to determine how to get us a table for 12 on the main floor. We only waited a short time and they were able to seat us all together. Staff’s attention to our needs were exceptional and made for a wonderful Easter brunch. The food was excellent as well! Thank you to Billy’s amazing staff.
Just your local bar. Food is decent. Prices are ok. The specials are pretty good. The patio is nice. It seems dog (on leash) friendly too - I saw at least 4 dogs while I was on the patio. I would go again, especially mid week when things are quite.
Last time I was there, I was with a group of 6 for breakfast. My food never arrived and the waitress promised my food would come for 30 minutes!!! It never came! I really mean it never came. Lots of stupid looks and lies about how sorry they were. Well they were sorry.... and I was sorry I ever went there. The place is a dump. Please for the love of GOD don't reply with "please contact us so we can resolve this". I'll tell you now... look up customer service in the dictionary and buy a vacuum.
Fajita quesadilla was very tasty. It's too bad that the Pico de gallo was not fresh. There was some grisly chicken in my quesadilla too, which I did not like. Popcorn was very good. Coffee was also very good. Would have liked another round of refills but server wasn't interested in keeping us hydrated tonight. Liked the Christmas decorations. Floor was dirty and could have used a little sweeping.
Chicken fajita salad needs more to it. Fajitas historically come with fried peppers and onions and I guess I didn't read it well enough and there are no peppers included in this salad and the onions were raw red onions which were very spicy. There's no lime garnish which would add some flavor. No offers for hot sauce. I asked for a salad dressing to come with my salad and was charged an extra dollar for a packet of salad dressing because apparently the sour cream and the fajita sauce which was concentrated steak sauce flavor were counted as dressings. Ordered carbonated water with a lime and was charged $2.95, But we were not told that we would be charged. Generally speaking I'm not usually charged for that at other restaurants I guess Billy's is the rare one that does charge. After tip lunch price was $20 which is too high for lunch. They do have a couple of lunch specials for around $10, but the sides are extremely limited and you are unable to substitute a healthy choice for fries without charging more. A side of raw vegetables or cooked vegetables should be an option for those of us trying to be healthier and still be able to go out to eat. I have been going out to eat much less because of the inability at many restaurants to sub healthy choice options. Service was good though, Cat has been there many years and knows the scoop to any question you have.
Went for the pork tenderloin sandwich. It had very little taste and was disappointing.
