Come for the nostalgia of going here as a kid but usually leave underwhelmed with the food, other than pizza. But even the pizza isn't really worth the price now that I'm a paying adult and not a kid, lol. Good views if you sit on the patio and the lake is a nice place to hangout beforehand to have a different type of zaza.
This past August was literally the first time dining in at this location since '99 believe it or not.
I guess because I'm a foodie and love to explore new places, maybe that's what took me so long to get back here and not to mention I've gotten my fill of BP pizza at the North location over the years which is much closer to my house in Beach Park.
This pizza is heavenly and truly one of the best I've ever had in my entire life. They say the big city is the place to be but regardless if you're in Chicago, NY or Detroit or even a frozen pizza brand; it really is what you like.
As far as taste, this venue alongside the Third Lake location and a popular parlor in Lake Forest are tied for the #1 spot in my book.
Besides pizza, Bill's also has a great all around menu as well as a good alcohol menu with overall still fair enough prices, friendly service in a clean & rustic log cabin vibe.
Guys, I love your pizza and I promise I won't wait several years to come back for more greatness. Always try my best to support local and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).
Bill's has always had great pizza! Today's half pepperoni and sausage, the other half vegetarian was delicious and tasty. Service was efficient and friendly. The peanuts are also good. We will be back!
Wings and buffalo sauce to die for! Much appreciated menu variety as well. For pick up, the staff is always on top of it and super friendly/fun to visit. For dine in, it's honestly a hit or a miss staff-wise... but overall this place has lived up to it's long-built up solid reputation in my book. Thanks, Bill's Pizza & staff! See you soon.
Food and drinks were amazing ????. I had the greatest white pizza ever! My hubby and I had a date night and sat in front of the fireplace, it was fantastic. Will definitely be returning. Thanks to our great server who made sure my husband never ran out of soda.
When in the Chicago area - you have to get pizza!
I ordered delivery (through the Slice app) and Bill's definitely delivered! The very nice gentleman who brought my pizza made sure to warn me it was hot - and it was. As if straight from the oven.
It was baked to perfection. Cheese melty, crust perfect, veggies in the perfect ratio and distributed properly. (We all know how important that is for a perfect pizza!)
Will definitely get more when back in the area!

One of the few places to offer this style, and cook it so it still has a crispy crust. Sides are great. I was a little disappointed in the portion size of the fried mushrooms. But all in all, this location is timeless with the decor, the overall vibe, and the great food.
Came in waited 10 minutes to be greeted, was sat waited another 20 minutes until I phoned in a manager (Angela) who came by to take drinks and order followed shortly after. All came out at the same time. I was almost on the cusp of making a call back for refills. Their pizza has all the right ingredients for what could be that magical thin crust you salivate for, but the Pastorelli straight out of the can sauce kinda ruins it. They use some kind of whole milk mozzarella cheese. The crust is a pleasant thin that reminds me of someone who worked at Aurellios for 10 years and decided on making their own. Really not caring for the service rendered here. No apologies either which is fine here's your review from a pizza connoisseur. Just one word of advise and that is to fix it before you go out of business. IL is an awfully expensive and taxing place for allowing business mistakes. FYI
