I had an appointment with Kimmie, and she did an outstanding job. I was unsure of what I really wanted done to my hair. I asked her for a recommendation, and I let her know that I did not want to go too short. She recommended that I do long layers, so I went with it, and I love it. I will definitely be coming back.
This is the worst hair experience I’ve ever dealt with. I went to this salon at 4:30 PM back in April, to get done what the picture on the left called for. Michelle attended me. We were there 7 hours after hours which I got the result on the right. I left this salon at 11:30 PM!!! She claimed the toner didn’t take. She seemed like a nice enough lady so I did feel bad and paid her. But, I want to add at this point my hair hadn’t had any product in over 6 years and I have multiple hair stylists in my family, this shouldn’t have happened. I also want to add that I was 7 months pregnant and was getting my hair done for my maternity pictures. By 9 pm I was asking if I could leave because I had inhaled too much fumes and was getting dizzy. I was basically held their hostage and had to cry to beg to please let me go home!! She said she was almost done but by 10:30 she kept saying that redken must have changed their formula because the toner didn’t take. I kept asking if I could leave and she was trying to fix it because she was worried she was going to get in trouble with Natalie the owner (I finally was ABLE to go home by 11:30!!). Truth of the matter is she didn’t know what she was doing. The owner the next day had an attitude as well from the MINUTE she started speaking to me. I mean she hadn’t even let me get a word in and was already trying to blame me!! It seems she has an arrogance issue from the reviews. But she was trying to blame me for having type 2 hair or whatever she called it..I’ve had my hair done my whole life and I don’t mind being in a salon for 7 hours if it’s a good result but come on Natalie. She also tried to say I was late to the appointment which I also had the text messages to prove she was wrong and even Michelle told her that I was early. This is unacceptable and my hair is still suffering the consequences since because of the 7 HOURS OF BLEACH. It’s badly damaged and unevenly cut! And she didn’t even know how to blow dry!! I do admit I have curly hair but Michelle should’ve been honest that she didn’t know how to handle curly hair instead of doing this whack job. And for Natalie, shame on you! You did put toner in my hair and it made my hair look “presentable”. I didn’t want to say anything because it seems all your employees are scared to death of you so I didn’t want to get the poor woman in trouble but this is BAD BUSINESS. We are coming in October which has been 6 months and my hair is so fried from the bleach!!! Also I wanted a balayage not tiger stripes!! Michelle you seemed like a nice enough lady but you shouldn’t be doing hair. And Natalie, you really need to leave your ego at the door or cleanse your heart some!
The last two pictures are how my hair looked when I would blow dry my hair MYSELF. The blonde bad bleached job was “blow dried” so it shows that Michelle also couldn’t even blow dry.
Just save yourself the trouble and DO NOT GO HERE.
Just spoke to Michelle and she is trying to put the blame on me..I admit my hair had damage from heat styling tools which any women who uses heat knows that comes with the territory but the bleach took it to a different level! She also tried to tell me that I should be doing deep conditioning treatments which I have been doing..I’ve been doing deep conditioning, bonding treatments etc. it’s just so badly damaged! Every professional that I’ve shown this picture to, doesn’t understand how she has a license!
I highly do not recommend this business. After my second appointment here, I was very unsatisfied with my hair result. I did inform the stylist/owner of the business and she seemed very upset because I did not like my result. She got an attitude because I wanted her to fix my hair. However, she had other customers to attend and she did not offer to fix my hair during that same day. She stated that “the county water” would tone my hair as I desired. And she offered me a future appointment but I was unable to confirm it due to not having phone service for more than a week.
And, once I got phone service I realized she blocked my contact. And once I reconnected with her to rechedule, she had an attitude and argued with me over the phone. And she stated for me not to call her business back!
** LACK OF WILLINGNESS TO HELP, LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, and LACK OF SKILLS!!**
I have gone to raymond for years. He always cuts my hair the way I want. All the folks that work in there are so nice and friendly. Really miss Raymond's wife Rose. She was a special person.
Kim is a great stylist. She did a great on my buzzcut and shave
I love Bills... The employees are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They always make my family feel welcomed and we always leave with a smile and looking fabulous.
Absolutely love this beauty shop!! They are all wonderful stylist and Woody, which does my hair, is outstanding!!! Love this place!!
Love my "Hair-apy" sessions with my favorite "Hairapist" - Woody. First stylist I ever followed when they moved.
