If you want a giant delicious pizza this is a great place to stop. I feel like it’s great value for your money- the slices are absolutely huge and definitely was a NY style pizza. Our slices came out piping hot, perfect ratio of sauce and cheese with a crispy crust. I highly suggest takeout only. The building seemed very run down when we went. The AC was broken so it was 85 degrees inside (unbearably hot) and the bathrooms were out of order as well. The ice machine was also out of ice so we couldn’t even use drinks to cool off!
Parking is on the roof for free which is a plus!
First time trying Biggies, kind of disappointed. We got the Sweet and Sour Hawaiian, it was supposed to have hot honey and there was none on it. Might give them another chance just to see how they do on a regular pizza. The pesto bread was below average, wouldn’t recommend.
We had the barbecue pizza made fresh. It was $27 for 19 inch pizza and two drinks. We didn't know where to park. If you drive right next to the building you can park on the roof at no charge. The pizza is good. It's worth checking out!
Staying at a hotel from out of state and we decided to go with Biggie Pizza because who doesn’t love New York style pizza. We looked at the pictures of others reviews and were pleased. When we received our order, the pizza and cheese bread seemed to be slightly undercook. The crust wasn’t crisp and the cheese was pretty white. Did not look like the pictures of people’s orders of slices. I would not recommend ordering a whole pizza or cheese bread. Just not good.
Biggies is a great spot right off Jacksonville beach. Big slices new york style, but the crust is a little sturdier than NY style, which I quite enjoyed. Wings are baked, meaty, and delicious. Counter service so things move pretty quick. All the slices tasted fresh and pleased our family of 4!
Solid spot for a speciality pizza. I enjoy indulging in the Meet Me in NYC pie. Very filling. Also in the video is the Mary Jane Pesto. My partner was a fan, but personally I liked that one more when it was cold - back at home as a leftover!
This place is a rip off! No where near NYC Pizza because they don’t have NYC water. The cheese isn’t stringy and it’s overcharged. They charged $7.00 for a buffalo chicken slice. There was like 5 LITTLE pieces of chicken. I went back in and told them for $7.00 I wanted more chicken. I told them Indidnt want that slice. They argued me down about there being chicken hidden underneath their stale cheese. They gave me another slice reluctantly, but you better believe I won’t ever eat there again or recommend it!
Ordered a 19” pizza and then two slices of cheese for pick up. My husband brought it home and the 19” was burnt but the cheese slices were great as always. I called the store and spoke with a nice young lady. She asked me to send pictures of the burnt pizza to her cell, so I did. She then offered a whole new pizza with one of their desserts and said they’d deliver it all at no cost. We live about a mile from the restaurant and our new pizza and dessert showed up about 30mins later. Highly impressed with the way they handled this issue and I appreciate the young lady and the driver making the situation right for our Tuesday night dinner. Great job Biggies and staff!
