This was our first time here and my lady was excited to try it out. We ordered the Stir fried Squid and the Spicy Chicken. The chicken came out cold so we had to get it made again. By the time the food came back I had finished the squid completely. The squid was a little too sweet. I lean towards more traditional Korean food but figured we would give them a go round. We will probably not be back. The service was good though and they were pleasant. Go give them a try.
The food here is fantastic and so delicious! The vibes are so easy going and definitely comfortable! I was left feeling so satisfied and full. After eating here all I could think about is going back again. If you’re in the area you should definitely stop by and try the food!
Delicious!
Nice little Korean diner with very courteous staff. They serve your food on the old-school cafeteria lunch trays. LOL.
We ordered the squid stir fry combo and the spicy pork. Did not disappoint!!! Nice and spicy and just a tad too sweet. But delicious none-the-less. You can taste the wood charcoal, which made the food enjoyable.
Definitely recommend this place.
The price for the combo is very reasonable.
Big Sister’s Kitchen is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Atlanta. I highly recommend coming here if you’re in the mood for traditional Korean grilled meats, but don’t want an all-you-can-eat experience. Great for lunch.
You choose a meat, a rice, and as many sides as you want. The best meats are the Spicy Pork, Spicy Chicken, the Beef Bulgogi, and the LA Galbi. They’re always cooked fresh to order on a wood-fired grill, and served piping hot with white, fried, or brown rice.
All meals come with sides— my favorite are the spicy rice cakes, vegetable pancakes, and the stir fried veggies.
Service is great— the staff is friendly and speaks great English if you’re not familiar with Korean food.
This is such a great hole in the wall place.
Not saying it’s shabby in anyway.
It’s just a nice no frills, quant restaurant.
It’s purely about just getting a good solid meal.
Korean home cooking, done simply and right. Have tried the pork ribs and short ribs and both were comparable to other established Korean restaurants with a comparable price point. If you just want a solid portion of Korean bbq and not go full out on all you can eat, then this place is a must try.
Was looking for a convenient spot to meet for a business lunch. Saw the reviews were high so we decided to give it a shot. Good food, reasonable prices, great service. This isn't a date night spot, has a strip mall vibe, but was perfect for an informal lunch meeting.
I finally found a good restaurant. It's a clean and delicious house. I was surprised that hot barley tea was also prepared. There are a lot of seats to sit down, so it's nice to eat comfortably. All the food is delicious. The soup was also delicious, and the oiled rice cake bokgi was really delicious. The teriyaki chicken taste was also the best. I also enjoyed the fresh salad. I think I'll go there often.
A cute little shop with very good authentic Korean food! I was very satisfied with how fresh & home cooked the food taste. You get to also enjoy the sides that you would find at kbbq places. This place has a lot of good options when it comes to proteins & sides. The teriyaki chicken & galbi as a protein are my go-to choices. I loveeee the mash potatoes, sticky rice cake and macaroni salad for the sides. I would definitely love to try other options when I come again. Everyone was soo nice and helped explained how to order. I'm definitely am becoming a regular & I have no shame in that lol. If you love Korean food, then this place is a must!
