From Iowa but came to Chicago area for a little trip. Wanted to find a place where I could get a burger and a hotdog, because who doesn't get a Chicago dog in Chicago? This place did not disappoint! Great food, great friendly staff, awesome atmosphere. Will come back here again when in the area! Thanks Big Sammy's!
Great customer service! Prices are decent, little pricey compared to other hot dog eatery’s. In my personal opinion the gyro was a better choice over the hotdog. The gyro had quality meat. Nice and tender, not over cooked.
A Month ago I ordered two foods almost 40 bucks and a week later I ordered the same food 28 bucks Inconsistent pricing. Dependent on cashier probably stole money from me.
Good dawg. Good service. Is wasn't too crowded when we stopped by which was 430pm on a Thursday. The dawg was delicious. Great ingredients. Kids love this place too. It's kind of a big spot. Lots of tables.
In Chicago and this place is serving hot dogs like you are getting them from the gas station.Whoops!! Don't mean to bash the gas station hot dogs that are way better.
Sammy's has a great menu with many choices. The food and service are excellent. The friendliness of the owner and staff is another plus!
Was there yesterday with my friend for the first time and food was great. They are generous with portion sizes :)
Beef had no real flavor for $15. 2 hot dog meal had pickle slices not spears for $14. Fries were just plain fries.... too expensive for what you get.
