Customer service was on point, I loved her honesty when questions were asked about particular items. She gave suggestions & was very polite. The food was good came out with the exception of one item which was corrected with no complications. Definitely will be returning.
Over all 4 star rating ONLY because some of the food could have more a sass to it. For instance, the red beans and rice. I expected more spice as its one of my favorite creole dishes, I just felt it lacked some. But my company ordered some very well made and tasty plates. The tartar sauce was too tartar. Like, too much on the miracle whip-ish side. I ordered the classic pepperoni and although it was slightly room temp in some spots, it sufficed. I ordered with provolone topped cheese and it was good. The pizza dough was great! The menu is extensive and has many enticing options. Atmosphere was cool and calm and Playlist was playing all the classic rock jams. Service was 100. HOLLY, our waitress, was very insightful and catered exceptionally to us.
The drinks were very delicious and perfectly rationed from base to alcohol.
We're from Texas but would totally recommend and try this establishment again being a local eatery. Glad we didn't opt for a commercial chain.
On the 28th day of January, 2024 I made a trip to "Big Mike's" in Denham to experience the Death Valley burger which some say is the biggest burger in town. I requested the burger be cooked medium well. The burger came with shrimp, bacon, lettuce, onions, mustard,etc. The burger came with fries and drinks were $3.00. There was a waiting period some may say is lengthy for receiving order. The burger was indeed delicious to my taste buds. I requested from the waitress to have the burger cut into quarters which I believe it's usually cut in half. The waitress returned with food citing "the cook did not want to cut the burger because he is too busy". The total cost of my order was around $30.00. You spend that amount of money and can't receive a simple request fulfilled by a customer. Customer service is going downhill particularly in the South regions. Don't settle for less and don't continue to fill the pockets of those employing poor customer workers and maintaining outrageous prices for commodities and services. Thanks!
The selection in the bar are pretty pedestrian (only a couple of local craft beers). The atmosphere is nice but pretty generic. That said the food, service and prices are great. So if you looking for a good spot for pub grub and beer in Denham this is it.
I love this bar!!! The local brews on tap were superb! 1 stout and 1 juicy hazy ipa! They both were perfectly blended!
The shrimp and corn soup was the best since she crab soup in Virginia Beach!
The spinach con queso paired well with the crostinis that were flaky light and toasted by the gods themselves! I mixed the two together to make a spectacular treat to me palate!
The atmosphere was welcoming and warm! The service was extremely friendly and attentive due to how busy it was! A+ all around definitely will be back and saving this one in my ventures around America!
Ooo just tried the King Cake Cheesecake paired with the office party stout and found a new favorite combo!

This is a very sad excuse of a salad.
My lettuce in some spots has spots that look moldy and soggy.
This chicken was supposed to be blackend w/buffalo sauce. This is in absolutely no way, blackened. You can look at that and tell.
This in My opinion is not worth $14
Secondly, my husband's food was wrong too.
He ordered a double bacon cheese burger with fries and he was brought SLIDERS w/no fries. So it was sent back and then he FINALLY got the burger and fries. The burger had no flavor to it either after finally got to eat it.
3rd- Before I actually got this "salad" I was brought a wrap. Which also wasn't what I had ordered.
This isn't the first time we have been disappointed with this buisness. We tried giving it another run to see if last time was an off time. I can't say that my family and I will return here in the future unless they do some serious rework of performance and their food.
Hannah was spectacular and attentive! Food was really good. We had a large group on a Saturday night and they accommodated us well. Onion rings could have been just a tiny bit crispier but they were delicious.
Got the special for today, the "Big Easy" (Tues. Apr23) without looking at the menu for our work meeting, turns out it was a grilled shrimp and grilled onion poboy. It was amazing!
