Been going to Great Clips my entire life but kept getting the same guy that did a BAD job (I had UNTOUCHED long strands of hair). Decided it was time to change and support a local barber. Had my first men's haircut at Big League yesterday and they deserve all 5 stars. Cheaper than Great Clips and provided me a 10/10 haircut. Highly recommend. You won't regret the experience here.

It was a good place at one time. Now it’s just average. Since Kim quit last year I thought I was connecting with the other styles that remain. But I was dead wrong, Kim was just like me, funny, personality, approachable. The others I found out the hard way, brick walled, barricaded with thick deadbolts, tumbler locks, and just not as great as what Kim was. Now I have to hunt for a great barber. Nothing to personal just business.

Asked for a low skin fade and she gave me a high and tight… And missed a spot, I’ll will not be coming back here again. Also asked for a tip at checkout… unbelievable

I’ve been coming here for years. Jessica is very personable, accommodating and gives the best haircut in town. She knows how to give veterans a good fade who like to keep their hair short.

We had a great experience as first timers. I definitely recommend calling ahead and making an appointment. The ladies were awesome, and gave my son the cutest haircut.

Not sure about the experiences of some of the other reviewers but I have been coming here with my family for a long time and we have never had any issues. The staff are helpful and accommodating and great with kids. My wife is a breastfeeding mother and she has never had an issue or faced discrimination of any kind at Big League. They have always been great!!

I've been going here since the place opened next to Krogers and after they moved near the Pie Shop. Used to be great. They knew my name and I was always greeted with a friendly hello. Evidently, it's under new ownership and/or Management. I went there in April for my usual 6 week cut and walked in as usual. I was greeted by a loud mouthed middle aged female, gave her my phone number as usual. She asked if I had an appointment. I said no and that I never needed one. She laughed and tells me it will be a 2+ hour wait since I didn't have an appointment. As I am putting on my coat to leave she says loudly that next time I should call ahead as she laughed again. I guess they don't take walk ins any more. I drove down Grand River to a place called the "Brighton Barbers". I was surprised to see 8 cutters there and my wait was less than 5 minutes. Been going there ever since. It's a great place for guys who remember the old time Barber Shops where you get a shave, cut, etc. and it's cheaper. Besides, there's more Testosterone than the Estrogen at Big League.

It's a great place when you can get in. I don't like to walk in and prefer making appointments so I started with Amanda and she was great at first then was out all the time and then left, so i began getting my haircut with Loretta and now she is no longer there. I started with someone else and she is now unavailable. Not sure what's going on here but would be nice to have some stability.
