I've tried this place a few times and I think I am done. The service has always been lackluster at best. They need better training and more staff at the bar. Usually I sit at the bar wherever I go to get better service, but it seems like the tables get better service here.
The food is priced way too high for portions and quality. We waited for 40 minutes for a small amount of loaded tots (that were clearly sitting for awhile with lukewarm cheese) and paid $10 for it. There was no need for that dish to cost that much and no need for it to be sitting. I do not think we will return.
This place has potential and a cool energy, but it needs some help on the service and food quality.
I've been here many times before but have moved out of the downriver area about 10 years afo. I stopped by after a work event, and pleased to see that this place aged like a fine wine over time. Props to the owners to keep mindset of continuous improvement and trying new things with the menu, layout and drink options!
My whole team enjoyed their lunch. The food was fresh, tasted great and quick to the table. The server was prompt and made sure we had quick service but was not trying to rush us out the door.
It was a great experience and although I don't live in the area, I will continue to come back to try more food and drinks.
This is our go-to for the best local bar food. Food is always amazing. Waitresses are always polite, cozy atmosphere. And I love you can leave behind a dollar written on for memories to go back and find the next time you visit.
This country boy can only eat vegan due to a health condition and they have a great vegan menu! Love the atmosphere, haven’t checked the bathrooms the Long Island ice tea is fantastic! I’m a pool player I sat this day out. They have tv screens all over the place! First time here my kind of environment.
We are newer to the down river area and this is the BEST bar/restaurant we go to. The service is excellent for starters. They always have the bar so nicely decorated as well. They do so many fun events - taco Tuesdays is one of our favorites. We are huge lions fans and game days are a blast here. Plus, they have such great deals on beer/drinks and food. We especially love the pepper Jack bites! Still working our way on trying the rest of the menu….but haven’t had anything we hadn’t liked yet. This place provides a welcoming, small town feel. You can tell the team cares about its customers! Highly recommend!
Popular dive bar that has a good selection of daily specials such as tacos for a dollar on Tuesdays.
Food was pretty good and definitely fair priced. What threw me off was when I got the bill, the tip suggestions were a bit outrageous. I am a generous tipper and always take care of people who take care of me, but to suggest a 99% tip on a bill just highlights how tipping culture is getting out of control.

BLBs is always a good decision. The atmosphere is upbeat but chill at the same time. Great options for drinks if you’re not the beer and shot kinda person (they have that too). Food is always on point. Service is always attentive. They always have some fun and creative event planned. Keep up the great work!
Great atmosphere. I was disappointed with the chicken sandwich. The breast was small. Great burgers and nice selection of beer. Food is closer to a 4
