This place has changed owners it's a horrible place smells of stinky old grease,items bought here smell like grease.
It used to be a decent place to just hang around and chat with neighbors.
But the service is so lousy and slow, usually 1 worker and its way to busy so you end up in line and the lines block what you are trying to get to.
I'd drive anywhere but here.
They make you pay before pumping gas which I understand in these days but if you stand there 20 mins and then see a buddy and accidentally forgot to pump you can forget about driving back to get it or your money.
I've talked to several people.
1 even said they were told there lottery ticket was already redeemed and it wasn't.
So one of the workers stole it somehow.
At any rate there is a dollar store right beside it for cold drinks and milk and bread.
Drive 3 miles on any road from that spot there is a store that is better all the way around.
I know for a fact they are not open 24 hrs and they are advertising that they are 24 hrs I want to know their real hours
I have shopped here since I moved to this area 3 yrs ago.
Recently, I purchased fuel with cash. Was stopped by an acquaintance, and drove off forgetting to fuel. I went back maybe 30 mins later, and told them. One said to the other that there was an issue on the register for the amount I purchased. So, they knew I was telling the truth aside from the fact I used to go in there at least every other day.
They told me to check back and see if they were "over" on the register. I gave them 2 days, went back and asked. Now they act as if there was no issue in the first place!
I consider myself a reasonable person. But, I will NOT purchase ANYTHING nor will I enter the premises there again!
I boycotted a "Grandy's" resteraunt in 1987. Guess what? Never been back!
I will drive the extra 10 miles for fuel and other items from now on.
One tank of fuel will cost them over $3,000 in purchases per year.
I'm sorry it turned out this way, but as small an area that we live in over here, sometimes you need to take the customer at his word!
I've been a customer for over 20 years at Big Hill Food Mart.I recently tried to cash a 10 dollar lottery ticket there.The lady scanned it and then said machine was down.I tried to cash later and said it had already been cashed.Very rude customer service there The lottery there is a rip off.I suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere.
Grew up not far down the Rd from here. It's country, family, and freedom as good as it comes. Love it and the memories it brings back.
typical gas station, have stopped there to get fuel and a snack on the way to visit my aunt and uncle
They done away with the best Hunt Brother's pizza. The pizza they have now tastes like Digiorno. If I wanted that, I'd go to the grocery store.
They have good icecream and the workers are decent. Dont take pictures or they will jump all over you though!
