I went to this barber a few years ago and I got one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Each time I have chosen to come back the haircuts are nothing like the first. Today I got a haircut and I am generally surprised. It looks nothing like the picture of me that I showed and is squared off in spots I asked for it to be swoopy so I can flip it. I couldn't be more embarrassed and disappointed. I'll be wearing a beanie or a hat for the next couple weeks at least.

The owner’s brother cuts hair on Saturday and it’s quite obvious he’s not a good barber. He’s a nice guy but he completely hacked up my haircut which I had to fix when I got home. If you want a high fade, don’t expect him to get anything close. Such a waste of money and tip.
I love this little barbershop not only does it still have the old school field to it the service there is some of the friendliest around. There prices are probably some of the most affordable along with the quality of haircuts which is very professional. Now keep in mind I'm your typical "fade" styled haircut. So it's probably not too hard to cut my but regardless I highly recommend big hill Barber shop.
Love this Barber shop. Perfect for us. We can just walk in and in 10-15 minutes we are out the door. My kids are satisfied with their cut too. So win win for me.
My family has been going here for years. This is the only barber that my boyfriend will get his haircut at. We lived in Georgia for years and he would wait until we came into Richmond to get his haircut. He likes a high tight fade and only they cut it the way he likes. My 5 year old son had his 1st haircut there and they were very patient with him. They let him sit in his Daddy’s lap. I give them 5 stars and would recommend this place to anyone.
I moved and was getting tired of driving half way across town to my old barber only to find the place closed. I picked a good time to go to Big Hill and got seated quickly. I received a good solid haircut at a fair price. Ample parking, easy to get in and out of. If you are looking for a barber, give this place a try. I believe you will like it.
