Great place to take pictures and access the river. Pit toilets are available, but smell horrendous. Lots of parking.
OMG, it looked crisp and breezy from the comfort of the car but it was HOT out. We took our lunch and made an awkward picnic spot by the river, which at least looked cool and inviting. If a picnic table was available, we did not see it. Would have been nice. Restrooms were decent, gender neutral, with plenty of TP.
Hey it's just parking area with river. There is a small store they're in big flat with running water. There is also the straw House restaurant

Great location but stinky outside! The parking lot can stink of toilet in the peak of the heat due to the vents. The nick name for this popular boating take out is simply “Stinky”. Other than the stink everything is relatively clean and nice, though not much shade. It doesn’t stink inside the toilets just where you want to stand to look at the river.
There is a surprisincly large parking area. 4 were large enough for our trailer. The babbling river was such a soothing sound. Recorded 60 second video - just to get the view and the sound.
Big flat has a lot to offer. Clean facilities, a beautiful river, and quiet little fishing holes. This is a common spot for rafting excursions to end.

Easy in and out parking with a close view of the river. Also quick r8ver access. Safe place for a break.
