Going to the Big E is one of our family traditions. This year we went on the last day(10/2/22). It was a breezy and cool day. We still had fun. We arrived at 10am and left at 5pm. The gate open at 8am until 10pm weekdays and 11pm weekends. The place was packed with people. It’s best to park in the parking lot ; it cost 10 dollars. Weekends are busy; weekdays not too bad. There’s so much to see and to eat. I also bought some stuff at a discounted price. I really enjoyed going to the Big E.
There's something for everyone at the Big E. Games and rides for kids, plenty of animals to see, lots of interesting and new products always being sold and absolutely tons of food! You just have to go and see. I recommend going to the state buildings they have some of the best food and products you'll find on the grounds.
Overcrowded and too damn expensive. Wristbands should be allowed to be purchased on weekend as well not just on the weekdays. It’s already super expensive and the least can be done is have them on weekends as families are having a tough time as it is. I love supporting fairs but not when I come into contact with terms like this. Big E also lower your food prices a little bit or have deals on food just like the local restaurants do.
Garden Bros Circus!
Thanks for visit West Springfield, Massachusetts!
It was an unforgettable sight for me and my family.
VERY cool place but took hours just to get too, hours to park. Literally thousands of people. Make sure you have a full tank. All atms nearby had NO cash to give. I’d say at least 100 people were shoving into us and everyone else as we walked. Extremely expensive but cool place for kids.
O!M!G! How can I describe the banality of this place?
After going down a road cloaked in mystery, you pass through the booths of payment ($5), and suddenly you're transported to what can be described a roulette's wheel of a coin flip. You may be directed to leave your car in a field, or if the event is small enough, guided to the asphalt spots in the shadow of the very big slide. There's no rhyme or reason as to where you'll be assigned. The only constant is that you'll be guided to deposit your vehicle in a sea of other personal transports.
Come to think of it, that's exactly how I would describe it.
Get early to get good parking. Food is costly. The event is nice. One time recommended.
Easy in, easy out. Just make sure to remember what pole line you are parked in otherwise you may not find your car easily.
