I'm in search of a Barber so I called first to see if they were booked for the day. I was told they weren't but that I would have to see the walk-in guy because they are a appointment run barbershop which I love. I walk in to a gorgeous barbershop and great ambiance. I sat down in the walk in guys chair and told him exactly what I wanted he nodded and said he understood, during the haircut I could feel that it was veering away from what I wanted so I had him stop and I looked in the mirror and I told him this is not what I want, I again tell him exactly what I want and again he nods and says ok, it was early in the process so he was able to correct it to a point... bottom line is he butchered my beard which made me furious I got up from the chair and looked at my face again in the mirror behind the chair and asked him if I could give him some unsolicited advice to which he replied yes I told him he needs to listen better to the instructions the paying customer gives him and if at any point he is unclear of what the customer wants he should ask rather than continue doing what he thinks should be done. I paid the $40 Bill and left in disgust and will never be back
I got my hair cut her a few months ago by one of the barbers name Hek, he did a good job on my hair, I'm gonna let him do me up again this week.
This barber shop is very clean, has a very modern & professional atmosphere. Marcus is a great barber. Very professional. My teen boys & I won't let any other barber cut our hair anymore. We're loyal to Marcus because we love his work. I've been to plenty of shops around Rochester, so far this one far surpasses the others when it comes down to it.
Years from now if you do a homework assignment on Rochester Urban History. This Barbershop would be 1 of the chapters you read about.
I have been cutting my hair at this establishment for almost a year and the professionalism that barbers Dre and Marcus showed to me and other customers are nothing short of awesome.
