Best WLM Reviews
Terrible experience. After paying an arm and a leg we had terrible service and terribly dry chicken. On a good note the waffle fries were good and crispy.
Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I thought the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and bbq sauce was just as delicious for airport food. The staff were quick and friendly, the lemonade was refreshing with plenty of other drink options, and it was easily located in the Southwest B terminal near gate B5. Overall, I really liked the food here. It was a bit expensive but not really for being in an airport.
The lines here are typically long. I had a layover at about 7pm and the line was short. Sweet!
I used the screen to order and the 4 chicken strips and fries I ordered came up fast. It’s weird to give 5 stars for almost no customer service. It’s for the cooks (hot fries) and the guy who called out my order :)
The fries were great. The chicken not great. The disappointment is mostly my fault given that every time I go by this place there’s a long line. I assumed it’s because the food is delicious. That wasn’t true for me. Decent price for an airport is a bonus, but low quality chicken kinda ruins it.
The strips were rubbery and very dry. Yes, I dipped them in sauce.
I wouldn’t recommend them. If you’re drawn in like I was. Try a sandwich maybe.
This place was disgusting and poor preparation and presentation of food. Food was cold and I asked for a refund and I was told no! The food does not resemble the photos and I ordered buffalo chicken sandwich and the sandwich was not buffalo barely any sauce and no blue cheese as the menu stated. 0/10
The absolute worst chicken tenders I’ve ever had in my life. This place is a grand insult to the consumer. It’s bad enough that MDW businesses have to charge ridiculous, exuberant rates for the simplest food and tiny portions. The tenders were the l tiniest I’ve seen in my life.
Hardly any chicken and all breading, and completely dry, hard, and overcooked.
I spent over $14 with tax for four tenders (with cold waffle fries) with seriously less chicken than 4 McDonalds Chicken Nuggets.
I asked the person at the counter if they had any larger tenders, and they say this is the way they are.
This restaurant if you want to call it that gets -3 stars (negative 3 stars)
I don't typically leave reviews but I had a particularly bad experience with the food and thought I'd warn others. I ordered the original chicken sandwich, which only comes with mayo and pickles. The service was fine, and I got the sandwich relatively quick for an airport. When I opened it, to my dismay, it was COVERED in a weird spicy sauce and powder. It looked like they may have used the bun to make a different sandwich, and then realized their mistake and attempted to scrape off whatever the sauce was. It was sooo spicy and I have really bad GERD so as you can imagine I'm not having a great time. The only reason I ate it was because of how expensive it was. It's pretty disappointing that they would serve something like this to a customer. The chicken itself wasn't bad, but it's just not what I ordered :/
????????????????
I paid a high price to write this negative review because the sandwich I had was absolutely terrible. I hope my review doesn't get banned.
Never had I ever had a sandwich that was so bad that it made me wish I could be Ray J for a day, and have "One Wish"…????
To make matters worse, I bought the sandwich at the airport where the food prices are ridiculously high, similar. I accepted my fate since I wouldn't have enough time to catch my connecting flight, eat, and wait in line for 20 minutes.
I had my heart set on the Nashville hot chicken because I saw it advertised on the menu and thought it would be great. But when I saw someone else's ordering screen, I noticed a spicy BBQ chicken sandwich that looked like something I would make up on my own .
After consulting with the team about the audible on the play, I was ready to call, it took less than 1 min to place the order
I found a place to charge my phone and eat, even though, it was awkward to have people watch me eat. I felt like a spectacle ????
The fries were average, and I was so hungry that I enjoyed the crunch, but it was clear that they were just frozen fries from WalMart being sold at a higher price. Now onto the sandwhich. After pulling it out the bag and unwrapping it, I noticed it looked nothing like it looked on the ordering screen menu. This burger was small and I even checked the bag to make sure nothing had fallen off the sandwich when I unwrapped it.
The taste of the sandwich was like they had just smothered some random sauce on it and microwaved it until it was hot. It reminded me of the food you get in a Texas high school cafeteria. I've even had better food in hospitals, believe it or not.
Adding to my disappointment, the lady behind the counter yelled our names as if we were in trouble. It felt like someone was going to arrest us for supporting an illegitimate business pretending to be a chicken sandwich spot….
I was only eating to satisfy my hunger.
Yeah, I really hate this place.
I had the Nashville Hot Sandwich. It was
OK. Fries were pretty good, but tasted like the oil was a little old. Probably one of the best options in MDW Airport. Not a lot of good options. But the service was good and fast for being so busy.
