Solid chicken sandwich that could probably use a bit more chicken. The flavor and fry is good. I just wish the chicken patty itself was thicker, and that the spices were more spicy. Their hit chicken definitely needs a bigger kick. The fries are quite good and worth the extra purchase even though $3.50 (as of May 2024) might be steep for some.
Big Chicken in Vegas was a pleasant surprise for a fast food spot. The quality of chicken and soda options was notably better than expected. They offer a good variety of spices, which really adds to the experience. Prices felt fair, and it's a hit with kids too; mine, aged 8 and 10, absolutely loved it. The coleslaw was a bit "tired" and not very crunchy and fresh. For a fast food chain, it's definitely above average. A decent choice if you're looking for something quick and tasty.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it marked our first and likely final visit.
My daughter ordered the kids' nuggets and fries, but the nuggets (or popcorn chicken) were dry and tasted of old oil, with an overwhelming 98% breading to 2% chicken ratio. I would not recommend this dish.
My oldest daughter opted for the tenders. While the first tender was good and tasted "fresh," the other two were unremarkable.
I ordered Uncle Jerome's, and while the chicken was juicy, the promised Nashville hot flavor was entirely absent. I rate that sandwich a modest 3/10.
My wife selected dirty fries and wings. The fries were commendable – saucy and flavorful. However, the wings presented a mixed experience. Four out of five were amazing, with great flavor, proper saucing, and crispiness. Unfortunately, one wing was disgusting, showing black residue as if it had been previously fried, frozen, refried, and frozen again. This was off-putting and made her sick.
We also shared a side of Mac and cheese, which arrived 15 minutes after our main dishes. Regrettably, it was disgusting and lacked flavor. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, needing more salt, pepper, and attention to detail.
Finally, the big cookie was honestly the best part of our meal.
Despite spending nearly $85, our overall experience left us thoroughly disappointed and feeling robbed.
Had to come to see what hype was all about with Shaq's spot & was it just a gimmick. Everything was simple but was nicely laid out. They have different chicken sandwiches but also serve alcohol. They have a bunch of options for toppings & sauces. The fries are cooked to order, so they're hot. They're thinly cut but has a good crisp but also soft taste. The chicken is large & has a bunch of pickles. It was good & I understand why they talk good about it. You have to give it a try.
My first visit and I definitely will be back when I'm back in town. I had the shack attack sandwich ???? mind blowing flavor, and it's been awhile since I had such tasty fries ???? from a new spot. + They had a drink I've never tasted PINEAPPLE ???? CREAM soda ???? OMG ????. All in all great location friendly staff and tasty ???? food ????????????????????
I ordered through Door dash so couldn't tell you how the service was but when I opened the bag it was very nice to see it wasn't all over the place. I ordered the Ultimate with the sauce on the side (I'm picky with sauces). The chicken sandwich was good but not that much difference in other chicken sandwiches. The sauce was good had it with my frys. All in all, this Texas gal enjoyed trying something new.
First time here and was very excited, the inside is cool and clean. But the only thing that was disappointing was the size of the sandwich ???? the chicken piece was very thin. The wings were on point, and so we're the drinks. And the price was great as well. But the sandwich didn't even come close to the menu picture. ????
I will say first off: this location needs more staff. It was a busy Thursday night when we visited. There was a local event happening nearby so maybe that was a part of it.
We ordered online and waited in line with the other customers. Told them we were picking up an online order and were told it would be right out. After maybe another 10 minutes of waiting we saw that our order was behind the bar and was already ready. Eventually we flagged down the person expediting the orders (who was doing an amazing job) and were given our food.
The food was amazing. We didn't receive our sauces but the chicken was well seasoned so it didn't matter anyway :)
