This was last stop on our way back from Gatlinburg TN trio. It was best food WHOLE vacation! First off, server was the best!!!! We thought he was the owner! Lol! Our food was absolutely delicious!!! I can't say enough good things. I had ribs, beans, n yum yum potatoes. Yes they are yummy! Husband had pork loin sandwich. Delicious. Sister had chicken. Dessert to go were HUGE chocolate chip cookie with chocolate filling n chocolate to drizzle over at home. We had to leave the ice cream off since still traveling and added at home! Top notch service n food!!! Run....don't walk there! Our server said he always leaves the light on for ya!
Love this place! We had fantastic service. The inside was nice and cool on a hot day. They have the best ribs around - the meat was melt in your mouth tender. The sides are all excellent- loved the baked beans. Can’t wait to come back again! They have a large patio outside for dining. The menu has tons of options as well as kids items.
We stopped by the restaurant for lunch while on a road trip from Baltimore to the Twin Cities. A large party arrived just a few minutes after we sat down. We were concerned that we would have a long wait; however, our waiter handled the situation well. She kept a friendly smile on her face and got all orders taken care of and served quickly. We enjoyed our food and were back on the road without delay.
I ordered the pulled chicken nachos for dinner. It was 7:30 on a Tuesday night. There were 2 other tables eating. It took 30 minutes to get our food. The chicken was room temperature, dry, and chewy. I expressed my concerns with the manager. She offered to bring me something else. I said no, we don't have time and my jaws were tired from trying to eat the chicken. She offered pulled pork. I said that's fine but only if it's quick. She brought the container quickly and I said thank you. The bill came and she didn't credit us for any part of the disgusting chicken nachos. I asked for her again. I said I'm not paying for the nachos when I have only tried to eat 1/4 of the platter. She said that's why she gave me the pulled pork to make up for it. She finally took off 1/2 the price of the nachos and was not happy about it. Don't waste your time or desire for good bbq or service.
We had our water glasses constantly be maintained! Service was fantastic ! I am sorry I didn’t get her name. The three meat dinner had a generous helping of pulled pork, 2 slices of brisket and 4 ribs. The accompanying corn bread was delicious. Took half of it home. The sweet potato fries were nice and crunchy. The cottage cheese was good and firm. A Philly cheese steak sandwich was enjoyed by a past resident of Philadelphia, who knows his cheese steak.
Nachos and sliders. Both excellent. Very fast service.
Such a unique place. Great food and friendly service.
To bad they didn't put the effort into their food that they did with decorating. Arrived about 12:45 on a Wednesday. Ordered Pulled pork and fries, pulled pork and onion straws. The best thing I can say is the frozen fries were good. Both sandwiches were cold and slimey. The waitress who was very friendly immediately went to get us two new sandwiches.
She said the cook warmed these on the grill instead of the steam table. They were warm is the best i can about the sandwiches.
The wife got onion straws. They must have also come from the steam table. Inedible.
I asked for the BBQ. The waitress pointed at the single unmarked squeeze bottle on the table. Some kind of vinegar based liquid.
We drove an hour to try this place. Really wanted it to be good. Very disappointing. The place looks awesome. It would be a good place to open a BBQ restaurant.
We go on BBQ vacations. Texas to NC, Mississippi to Chicago. This is one star level.
