I had Big C perform a front disk brake rotor replacement on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma on Monday April 1, 2024. The next day as I was driving to work, the left front wheel completely separated. This severed the brake line, causing complete hydraulic pressure loss within the braking system. I somehow managed to keep control of the vehicle and make it to the emergency lane and come to a stop using the emergency brake. This accident could have been much worse. Not only did Big C not reimburse me for the towing back to the shop, they charged me for parts & labor for all the components needed for repair! The mechanic that did the disk brake rotor replacement failed to pack the left & right front outer wheel bearings correctly and likely over-torqued the wheel spindle lock nuts. This caused the left front wheel spindle to fail, resulting in the wheel separation. Note the brake fluid leaking in the left photo. Use this repair shop at your own risk!!
I got my car fixed the other day and big c got exactly what I needed done in a very affordable price range! Please don’t listen to the negative reviews on here and go to big C!
I always visit Big C Tires LLC for all my small and big tire needs. I've been knowing the owner Connell since the old Hussie Tire Jungle days and I'm very proud of his accomplishments. He always takes care of my vehicles needs and there is always a friendly conversation along with excellent customer service. I recommend everyone I know / visiters to pay him a visit for your all your repair and tire needs.
I will not return to this place ever again. Why does it take you multiple times to do a job properly? They're unprofessional, and they take forever to do a simple job that should take that long to do. If you can find another place to get your car worked on, I would recommend it. Save your time, money, and peace by not stepping foot at this place.
Amazing customer service got there just about 30 min. After they opened and luckily had time to help me do an oil change and tire rotation, topped of my liquids. They even helped change my wipers after I bought them and had the sitting in my car. If that wasn't enough they were so kind to show me how to check my own oil. The whole process was surprisingly quick Thank you for your help. I highly recommend coming here if you need any help.
It is first come first serve but they will take care of you once your there and affordable with great service.
They are usually busy selling new tires. You know it's easy to find used tires,just not a complete set that's suitable.
Do not come to this business. I have had work done on my vehicle weeks ago only to find out he did not do the work provided (Changing spark plugs, power steering pump was not new, lying about future fixes, etc). Completely overcharged and did extra work to knock up the price.
If you absolutely must have work done here. Make sure you check over their work and get a quote first. There are better and more reliable mechanics in Columbus than Randy thinks he is.
My dad took his Ford Escape to them when a check engine light on. They told him he needed a tune up on it with only 66,000 miles on it. Over $800 later and a week in the shop, they ruined his engine block. He took it to the Ford dealership and is now having to pay over $7,000 to fix his car. Big C didn’t offer to do anything to help make it right.
