Best WLM Reviews
$16.95 ($18.94 after tax) for a one entree bowl that typically would cost about half in a similar places not at an airport location. Food taste was just okay. Portion was reasonable. But if there are other similar restaurants in the same terminal, I would try other place first. It was quick service though. Kung Pao was SPICY!
Small menu, which is fine. The selections sound good, and I tried the Orange Chicken. Could barely taste it with the sheer volume of red peppers all over it. The overall dish has one flavor, and little else.
The noodles are also quite bland and not worth the extra cost. Definitely not a place I would bother with again. This looked like one of the better offerings at O'Hare. Boy, was I wrong.
I had Orange Chicken and Sesame Chicken with rice! Both chicken flavours were perfectly prepared. I was happy to have been given a choice to do both chicken with just about 2 dollars top up. I enjoyed my chicken!
Mongolian beef with broccoli and 2 potstickers (gyozas) ordered. To be honest, it was the best option I found at terminal 5 O’Hare (Chicago). Airport prices.
The food didn’t taste good like it looked , this 2 meals I ordered make me wonder how much sugar they put in! , wayyyyy so so sweet
17.++ dollars is not worth it
One of the worker lady looks like a bartender, she was just laying her elbows T the pick up counter has her headphones on, played on her phone, doesn’t care about how awkward when customer standing there and waiting for the order.
My conclusion is not recommended!
We where flying Southwest and had a layover at Chicago Airport. We decided to have some Asian food and went to Big Bowl Chinese & Sushi to grab a bite. We love Chinese food and ordered two combos (pick two) sesame chicken and Mongolian beef for $20 each. This is the first time of ever writing a review of a food place but this food was terrible so I couldn't help myself. Flavors where all wrong and Mongolian beef had a weird sticky texture. I had about three bites of the combo and trashed the rest. Worst food I have ever had. Staff just doesn't seem to care.
This location was for sure understaffed, so I can give them a little slack for poor service. The food however, did not make up for it at all. I paid almost $40 for a sesame chicken bowl with a side of 2 pot stickers and an egg roll. The sides were nothing special but were perfectly fine, the sesame chicken on the other hand was very disappointing. I picked all the onions out of my bowl and the volume of the onions was nearly as much as the chicken! Had I left them in I would have tasted nothing but onion. They were also out of about half of the items on their menu which was disappointing.
Lunch order on a Friday. No line. Staff never smiled. Bar closed for no reason. I’m siting at counter, a few feet from the service desk area where food is picked up. When food came up, staff yelled number. I was blocked by another patron from reach the food and asked if staff could just drop it over to where I sit. He nodded at the desk counter where he dropped it and left. Kinda rude.
