I went here with my bonus momma (Linda) and my daughter and niece. We needed some supper for my daughter's birthday celebration. Big Blues Que did not disappoint. My parents have always raved about this place, and they were correct. The pulled pork sandwich was packed full of meat, and it was delicious. The prices aren't bad at all. We will be returning.

Best BBQ and people in Southern IL! Just go, you will not be disappointed. Open only on Friday and Saturdays. Take out only. They do have picnic areas you can eat and enjoy if you don't want to wait until you get home.

Outstanding best bbq I have had. 1st visit have each of us received sample of all meats available. Smoked Italian beef really does taste like Italian beef with a kick. Pulled pork nachos are giant and delicious. If you don't like heat get the mild bbq sauce. Chicken leg so juicy and delicious. I am stuffed.

There food is great! Make sure to check their Facebook for what specials they have and to double check their hours. Sometimes they close when they sell out. But totally worth the trouble of checking.

The food is great, but my favorite thing is talking to the lady at the first window that takes your order. She is funny, kind, and such a hoot! The line is sometimes long but it moves quickly. Don't pass this place up...and get the upside down nachos!

Incredibly nice owners and even better BBQ. The ribs are really meaty, have a light pink smoke ring, and are the perfect combination of chewy and fall off the bone. Truly worth the trip off the highway if you are passing through this part of Illinois.

So good! The pulled pork and the baked beans were INCREDIBLE. Staff was very kind.

Stopped here after hiking at Bell Smith Rec Area. A little off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. First thing they did when they heard we were first time visiting was give us samples (super friendly folks). I settled on the ribs, they were killer, worth the stop. I will definitely be returning. Just beware they only have outside seating as it seemed like most people did take-out.
