Best WLM Reviews
I know some will turn against this buffet, but the reason why I feel like it deserves a five-star review for this buffet, is because of the food, the service is just pretty much them reserving a seat for us; then at the end we pay. The Pink Lemonade was tasty and fresh. There also is a sign plastered in tables, stating if you waste the food you owe them some fees. I'm not sure how to feel about that. Then heading over to the main part; the buffet. The chow mein tastes decent, and also with the fried rice too. The rest of the food's quality was pretty tasty, and fresh. There also was a sushi bar where chefs cook sushi, and oh boy, the California Rolls were spectacular! Nothing is special about this buffet anyway, just a decent buffet. The tables were clean and the atmosphere was spectacular. In the end, I passed down with a check and.. not a single time of these employees forcing me a tip, though I gave them a tip because of the buffet.
My friend and I were first in right when it opened. We dined in. Pretty clean. Good food. It was my first time there. Try the fried sawii. It's delicious as well as the chicken on a stick. The porkchops were great too!
Decided I would try a new place out. I have to say this is definitely a secret treasure and worth the drive. This is now my favorite Chinese buffet. I used to go to Atlantic Buffet all the time in Douglasville, but it has gotten too expensive. However, this new place has reasonable prices and the food is amazing. The chicken wings are chicken on steroids. I haven't seen wings this big in a long time. I will definitely be back and recommend checking this place out if you're within a 30-minute drive of this location.
Drove into town late at night, tired and hungry.
Found this online so we decided to give it a try. Very pleasant surprise. Building is clean and newer. Food is constantly refreshed.
Place was packed and even though they were getting close to close, no tray of food sat long.
Good variety including sushi rolls. Several types of shrimp on the bar including boiled, fried, batter dipped, sauced, etc.
Overall, Asian buffets are often subpar and cheap bulk food. This place is not the low end norm. Good food at good prices. If this were local to me I would eat here regularly.
Definately worth the visit!
My family and I went for the first and last time this evening. Our server never came to check on us, we never got a refill on any of our drinks, and the lady up front came to our table to scold me for removing empty places from my table since our server couldn't be bothered to. She said "You can't move the plates we have to weigh the waste. I told you last time." How could she have told me last time when this was our first visit? We will never eat there again. Not to mention most of the food on the buffet was stale and not very warm. I have never been more upset about a restaurant experience before. I have worked customer service mostly serving off and on for almost 14 years. I have never seen such an understaffed, ill managed, inconsiderate establishment in my entire life.
Decided to try the buffet bar again it's been a while. They have raised the prices on the lunch buffet to 10.99 and the supper buffet to 13.99
The food did not seem to taste as good as it had in the past and they did not have as large a selection. Sushi had a different taste also.
This is a pretty decent buffet. Lots of selections packed into a tiny space; but there is something for everyone. The sushi selection is ok; it could use a little more flavor to it. The price is very reasonable. The service is reasonable.
Big Bear Asian Buffet has a large dining area with lovely decor. The dining area is clean and has both, tables & booths. Box of gloves are at each food station & all staff wear masks. When we arrived, the food stations were full and immediately refilled. Our food was hot and we enjoyed each dish. Our final cost for Sunday's buffet and drinks were about $12 each. We will return!
